Has anyone seen celebs while at WDW last summer I saw Sinbad at Animal Kingdom and I guess you can count being within arms length of Warren Sapp Jon Gruden and Keyshawn Johnson

We saw Raven once.
There is a pretty lengthy thread Here that pops up from time to time with some good stories in it.

We saw Robert Urich and his wife and child at CBJ. They sat down right in front of us. He played on Spenser For Hire several years ago and made several tv movies.
Sadly he passed away 2 yrs later from a long bout with cancer. He seemed very unassuming about his celebrity status. Found out later his wife was on of the Von Trapp children in the Sound of Music movie.

I saw Dan Tyminski eating at Pecos Bills. He plays guitar and sings in the Allison Krauss band. He also won an award a couple of years ago for a song, Man Of Constant Sorrow from the O Brother Where Art Thou soundtrack.

I know I have seen others but cant re-collect them in my thoughts. Age is kicking in::yes::

Last August my husband saw Maria Carey while waiting for my DD to get off of Tower of Terror.

We met a family that had seen Eddie Murphy the same week.

About a year ago, in October I met Kelly Rippa in the Mexico Pavillion. She was there with her little daughter Lola.

I was looking at the leather goods that they sell there, and I heard a voice calling for Lola, now being that my mom's name is also Lola and not a very comman name I was shocked. I turned around, just as her little girl ran into my leg. She came up to pick up her daughter and she was apologizing for her running into me. I looked at her at first and then realized who she was...I will say she is even as beautiful in person as she is on tv. I told her not to worry about it, as kids are kids and we are at Disney World. She smiled and agreed with me. I kept it on the low, but I did ask for an autograph for my mom, she smiled again and signed my Epcot map. I will say she was very pleasant and easy to talk to. Well that is my little story.

In December we saw a decorator from Trading Spaces...Don't remember his name but he has a ponytail...

He was ridding to MK with us on the tram...We waved and gave him a thumbs up and he waved back...He seemed quite nice. They were doing a few houses in Tampa that week so that was why he was in town...

Not very exciting I know...

Sean Connery (007) was sitting at the table next to us while we were having dinner at Teppanyaki. At least we felt safe while eating! ::MickeyMo

We, also, have seen Kelly Ripa. We saw her back in 9/99 she was with hubby Mark and their son at the time. We were walking by the indy cars and my hubby made a comment about the family that had 2 disney escorts and wondered who they were...well I looked over and knew who they were right away :0) We have also seen others walking around the world at epcot, but I can't remember who at the moment..I remember hubby saying there's so and so.
I've also been to PI with 4 members of the backstreet boys and one member of new kids on the block...I know, those boy bands, but this was right when Backstreet boys were coming out, my cousin knows them ;0) It was too funny though, everyone was running up to the member of new kids asking if they were getting back together, etc...I'd say this was in 1995 or 96.:Pinkbounc

We were eating at the California Grille last year
when Julie Andrews came in with a huge party and were escorted to a seperate dining area.

I haven't seen any celebs at WDW, but I have seen Dan Tyminski in our local JCPenneys shopping with his family one time. He lives in our area and it was just a normal Saturday shopping and kind of strange, but cool, to look up and see someone you have seen on award shows.

In May 2003, we were very close to Michael Jackson and his entrounge of kids aging from 5 to 16 (including his 2 kids). He was very nice to his fans and spoke and waved at many people. He was staying over at Universal but came to ride Test Track. It was on Entertainment Tonight that night or the next.

My favorite celeb sighting was Kelly Ripa and Regis last December. They were filming the Christmas Parade during the day, which we watched all day long and was in several shots in the background. Regis even yelled out, "Hey, I know you" to me because he had to look at me all day! Then that same night we were seating right next to Kelly Ripa and Mark and family in Mexico. I could not believe it. Kelly smiled at me, but we did not want to bother them while they ate by talking to them. She was a great mom to her kids. My DH actually knocked his beer bottle of the table by accident and it rolled under their table. Mark picked it up and said to DH "Better you than me, man" because it made a loud noise. My DH was so embarrased as he did not want to bring attention to them at all, then ended up quieting down the whole restuarant with the bang!
 :teeth:

In 1998 I was staying at the Boardwalk Inn and had arrived very early in the morning (on a Red Eye from So. CA). It was about 6:30 am, and the Boardwalk area was deserted. I was standing by the railing (I was with my fiance...now ex wife, but that's a different story), looking at the water, when I turned around and George Hamilton was right behind me! I said "Hi George" he said "Hi" and walked away...it was almost surreal.

I also saw Kelly Ripa and her husband at the Poly in 1999 (at the lounge area in Ohana).

I saw Michael Jackson (complete with freaky disguise) and Joan Lunden (she was doing the Easter parade) at MK. I saw Roxy Roker (from the Jeffersons) at EPCOT and at DL, I saw Tim Robbins.

WOW, Kelly Rippa gets around!!! I seen similar threads like his on this board before, and EVERYBODY is seeing Kelly & her husband (whats his name?).

I saw my former receptionist once down @ WDW, after she long left my company. She was kinda a celebrity in my office...does that count?

The person who saw Julie Andrews (Mary Poppins herself) is sooooooo lucky! I love Mary Poppins.

;)

I think it was April of 1999, the first year Test Track opened we saw Cory Feldman. He was riding in the car in front of us and he seemed to appear out of nowhere while we had been standing in line for an hour. This was before fast pass. He had a CM with him and he was travleing with a female, maybe his g/f at the time...

I hear of all thse celelbrity sightings, I never seem to see anyone! :(

Except for Mickey!!!!:teeth:

Way back in the 80's (ha) we saw David Copperfield taking pictures with Sorcerer Mickey. They were in the grass behind the fence, my mom walked up to the fence and said "Excuse me, can you make my children dissapear?" I was mortified! I saw Wil Wheaton in the basement of the Tower of Terror. He was with his wife and two kids.

In April I saw Jerry Stiller leaving the mens room at the Boardwalk. (I said "Hi", but did NOT want to shake his hand!)
Ha-ha!

:earsgirl: ME
:earsboy: Hubby
 Jr.

Hi to all

We just got back from Disney World last Saturday and saw Cameron Diaz and Justin Timberlake.

We (DH, myself, and 2DD teens) were walking near Tony's in MK when someone brushed against my 16year old .....she turned and it was Cameron - Justin had just shoved her. Of course they had about 7 escorts around them and it happened so fast that we couldn't even get a picture.

Boy did my daughters whip out there cell phones to call their friends.

Very Exciting!!

We saw Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisey, Pluto, Goofy, Pooh, Tigger, and so on, and so on......... He He He:teeth:
