Celebrity sightings at WDW Resorts...

I do not remember this actor's last name. He plays the new vice president on West Wing, I believe his first name is Gary. I saw him checking in at Yacht Club on Sat. Dec. 20.

about that montel post...

I was a guest two years ago on the Montel show.. and sat and talked to him for about 15 min... yes , he is buff. I never knew until I was close, LOL!

IN October we saw Wayne Brady taping a commercial for the EPCOT Food and Wine Festival. The Disney suits were trying to keep the public away from Mr. Brady but eager fans still found a way to get to him. I yelled to him, "Congratulations on your Emmy!" as he passed by; he turned to me, gave me a HUGE smile and said, Thank you!". My husband (who watches the reruns of Whose line is it Anyway" on ABC Family) was like a giddy school kid seeing Wayne Brady. I have to admit, it was really fun!

Donny Osmond in the lobby of the Contemporary. I think it was 1999. He was obviously staying there and leaving...he said hello to my husband.

Then, he went outside and got in a mini-van with his family.

I was at the AKL concierge last Tuesday and had just been to
the Candlelight Processional the nite before and lo and behold
stirring his coffee right next to me was Robby Benson, the
CP's narrator! I couldn't help but say to him how great his narration was and he looked at me and said Thank you very much...Then he went over with his coffee and newspaper and
started reading at one of the concierge table. I don't know if I
was the only one that noticed him, but I didn't want to bother
him or call attention to him(he was kind of incognito with cargo
pants,t-shirt and reading glasses) Anyway, I thought it was pretty cool! He was the best at narrating the Christmas Story,
I want him to come to my house and read to my kids!!LOL

We saw Dominique Wilkins (former NBA star) at DTD about 12 years ago. It was in a store and at first I was not sure it was him. So I went up to him and asked him if he was Dominique Wilkins and at first he said "No." So I went back to shopping and he came over about 2 minutes later and apologized and said he gets approached all the time. I said I understand and we chatted for about 5 minutes.

nearly every time we go.

This time (over the Holidays) we were two "cars" behind Kristin Storm (Zenon) - (Days of our Lives) on Snow White. We also saw Barry Bonds...but he was in the parade. There were ALOT of Ambassadors that trip, so who knows who we saw that we didn't know who they were!

Our favorite sighting, has to be Halloween time, 1998. We saw AEROSMITH...yes...most of the band...including Steve Tyler...shopping at the Lego Store! It was so funny to see them there!

WHO: Clint Eastwood
WHERE: The hallway (our floor) of the Beach Club upon our arrival.
WOW!!!! Very exciting....apparently he was there for a celebrity golf tournament....anyway, it definately "made our day" and was the highlight of our trip, sadly, as we all got deathly ill for the duration of our stay! :(

Lets see, I celebrated New Years Eve with Michael Eisner, Barbara Bush and Patty Page at the Top of the World.

Saw Rosie at the GF at the dock in 2000 and saw Wayne Brady in MGM in 2003.

We are going again to the GF this year, hope to see more celebs!

We saw Paige Davis (Trading Spaces) with her Husband and other family members (Mom, MIL??) walking around the world at Epcot on 12/22 and Gen. Tommy Franks (and his bodyguards) at the Candlelight Processional on Christmas.

We were waiting for our table at Flyin' Fish on 12/31/03 and John Stamos came in with his wife Rebecca and two men. We asked JS to take a photo with our two daughters, which he did very graciously...was very nice to the girls and chatted with them for a few moments..

Saw Ellen Wheeler from Another World and All My Children on 1/2/04 at Main Street Athletic Club in the MK shopping with her daughter.

My husband and I saw Tom Lehman and his family at the California Grill in October 2003 during the PGA event. He was very friendly and very gracious to the staff and dinner patrons who were a little star-struck.

when the orlando magic was in the process of signing grant hill he stayed at the GF. i was walking into the lobby and said "that guy looks like grant hill except this guy is on crutches" to which my brother informed me that grant hill was on crutches. we then were watching the 11 o'clock news and there he was shown walking into the GF and we were right behind him.

Im bringing this thread back...this is great! :bounce:

Back in 1990 we saw Jason Hervey ("Wayne" from the TV show The Wonder Years) at MGM. Ok ok....not as impressive at Princess Di and some others mentioned but it was exciting to me lol ;)
