A very old man friend of mine has met three people and shock their hands, I find it fascinating who they are and wonder if he is the only one who has met the three of them.

Lebron James - before he moved his family to Miami, my younger son went to school with his older son ("Bronny"). They were in Kindergarten together.

I haven't met too many, most of them have been random connections through my high school or hometown

- Timothy Hutton was my high school history teacher's nephew. They both came to class completely hungover and decided they didn't feel like history, they felt like a game of basketball in the gym instead.

- Shemar Moore was another teacher's nephew. He came in one day and I think pretty much every girl at school went crazy

- Eliza Dushku went to my high school, she wasn't around too much, but I used to run into her later when I worked at CVS in town

- Ted Kennedy

- a few kids I went to high school with are now in pretty well known bands, but I'm not sure that counts since they weren't celebrities when I met them

I have met Steven Tyler several times and even got to watch a private taping at the beach when Aerosmith did the opening for the Espy awards several years ago.

A month ago, my husband and I saw Justice Sonia Sotomayor in the supermarket. At first, he did not believe that it was her because she was dressed very casually and driving an economy car. Then we heard her distinctive voice and watched as shoppers trailed her with their iPhone cameras.
