Celebrities you've met

I've met Lee Dewyze (if anyone remembers him) and Casey James. And everyone else in the top 10 American idol cast that season. Oh lawd Casey James smelt so good and I got to hug the crap out of him and touch his beautiful hair. Ugh...it was love

I ran into Hulk Hogan once. I mean, really ran into him. I was bookin' it past POTC, turned around quickly and SMACK! ran face-first into him. I almost fell down but one of his security guys grabbed my arm and kept me on my feet. Hulk grinned at me and gave me a wave. That's the closest I've ever been to a celebrity.

Same here, but it was Sebastian Bach. It was at a bon jovi concert in 1989, and skid row was the opening act. After the show, my friends and I were walking back to the car, and Sebastian Bach ran right into me, almost knocked me down. I didn't get to speak to him, though. Security whisked him away very quickly.

I was working in the record store in our local mall, just before Christmas in 1990, and Jeff Cook (country group Alabama) came in to do some shopping. He was sort of...quiet. Standoffish.

Too many to count. The most memorable has been President Obama, in October 2012.

I also once met Sebastian Bach at a Broadway Cares event. He was personable, as I recall. And made me wonder why I wasted all those years following Barry Manilow (I've met him as well.)

I've volunteered for Broadway Cares and have met a few celebrities. Some are nice, some are snobby. At one point, I followed figure skaters and managed to meet a few of the "old guard" (Brian Boitano, Scott Hamilton). A very nice group of people.

Lots of musicians

Just about any hairband--Poison, Cinderella, Ratt, Skid Row, etc.
Billy Joel
Harry Chapin
The Rolling Stones
Pete Townshend (The Who)
Rush
Paul McCartney
Ringo Starr
Elton John
Sting

Quite a few more:)

I've met Judith light. I've met Pinocchio from Once Upon a Time. I've met and worked with most of the Friday Night Lights cast and I'm on a hugging basis with Kyle Chandler. Oh I've also met Ricky Scaggs and Holly Dunn.

I have been blessed and have met a lot of different types of "celebrities".

Sports: we live in sports town and many of my friends parents worked for the organizations and one of my jobs also brought me in close contact with many of the players: Most memorable would be; O.J. Simpson, Jim Kelley, Marv Levy, Dan Marino, Dave Andrechuck, and Danny Briere. My father was very close friends with Tom Sestack and Paul McGuire.

Movies, TV, etc: Paul Newman, Jim Carey, Drew Carey, Ryan Stiles, Wayne Brady, Sinbad, and Steve Colbert.

Political: President Obama, Michelle Obama, and Jack Kemp.

Musical: Quite a few through my daughter but most memorable: Goo Goo Dolls, Prince, Beach Boys, (John Stamos but very briefly), All Time Low, Cute is What we Aim for, Maroon 5, etc.

Many were quick meeting while some were longer. With work contacts I had face to face meetings and then numerous phone calls.

I ate at a pizza place two tables over.. He was constantly giving autographs, never refusing a single person.. HE seemed so happy and kind..

Last summer a VERY popular bar/hotel was closing.. It is where everyone goes (not cheers, lol).. And I was headed up the stairs from the dance area, and someone grabbed my arm.. I look up and it is CeeLo Green. :scared1:.. He was asking me to go back down with his entourage. I was in such utter shock, and said no thank you...

David Archuleta, and the entire top 10 of that season of idol
Bethany Hamilton (she was staying at the Kalahari water park resort with the surfing machine!)
I think that's it? Lol

In junior high and high school, I was obsessed with the TV show One Tree Hill. I went to a Tyler Hilton acoustic set in Gainesville one night. He's a pretty egotistical jerk.

I also met James Lafferty from the same show. He smells great and is a very sweet (and somewhat shy) guy.

I loved OTH too. :) And I always felt like Tyler Hilton was a jerk in real life. LOL And James Lafferty just LOOKS like he smells good. HAHAHAHA

Really? That's disappointing! When we met him, he was SO sweet! Took photos with everyone, had conversations, made paper airplanes... Of course, when I met him it was at a friend's house who had won a radio contest for Tyler Hilton & Jesse McCartney to perform in her home, so it could have just been the setting. Tyler hung out in the house pretty much the entire night, but Jesse stayed outside mostly except to perform.

Andrew Garfield after a performance of Death of a salesman.

To the really tall girl who shoved little tiny me in front of her so I could meet him too... I love you. :lmao:

He is as adorably awkward in real life as he seems. The people ahead of me didn't take their pen, so he kept calling after them to give it back because I think he felt bad he took it. Then it started POURING out, and he was apologizing to ME because he couldn't sign my playbill. I told him, i don't really care about your signature, I care more that you tried, and he gave me the biggest smile. Then he got dragged away so he wouldn't get soaked. I think he would've stayed out meeting everyone if he could've.

i now have a playbill with a bunch of scratches on it thats all messed up and everyone is always like uh? why do you even have that.... then I explain. :cloud9::love:

-the Queen when I was in Grade 3
-When I was on vacation Arnold Schwarzenegger was beside me on a motorcycle as we were enjoying the scenery. When I looked up I was like OMG!!!
-The Trailer Park Boys (I wait on them all the time at work)

Joey Fatone and Lance Bass from 'NSYNC - I met Joey after I saw him Little Shop of Horrors on Broadway and Lance a few years later when I saw him in Hairspray on Broadway.

Diana DeGarmo and Ace Young from American Idol - they were in Hair on Broadway with a friend of mine and they couldn't have been nicer! I also met Diana after Hairspray as well as Andrew Rannells from The New Normal (this was YEARS ago - I was only about 17)

Josh Gad (the voice of Olaf in Frozen) years ago before he had even done Book of Mormon on Broadway and was in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee on Broadway.

Several Miss Americas

Kristin Chenoweth (once after a concert and once after seeing her in Wicked on Broadway)

Andrea McArdle after a play

I sang in a concert with Shirley Jones when I was 13 - she was the nicest!

I took a master class with Betty Buckley when I was 11 - she talked about herself the entire time! But I got out of school for it!

Rumer Willis (Demi Moore and Bruce Willis' daughter), Jamie Lynne Sigler and Sonia Manzano (Maria from Sesame Street) after an off-Broadway show - they were all VERY nice!

I've walked past Jonathan Groff inside the Times Square subway station, Audra McDonald at the Broadway Cares flea market a few years back, and Steven Tyler on Newbury Street in Boston about 8 years ago.

And my favorite was being on stage with Julie Andrews. She and Christopher Plummer were doing a Christmas tour about 12 years ago and my father's radio station was a sponsor and so the children of employees of all the sponsors were invited to go on stage while she read "Twas The Night Before Christmas." I also saw Christopher Plummer backstage and he said hello to all of us.

I've met at I-Con (Long Island sci fi convention):

George Takai (I was in the elevator with him)
Sylvester McCoy (#7 of Doctor Who)
John Pertwee (#3 of Doctor Who)
Alexander Siddig (Dr. Bashir on Star Trek DS 9)
Richard Hatch (Apollo on the ORIGINAL Battlestar Galactica)
Richard Biggs (Babylon 5, Days of Our Lives)
J. Michael Strazynski
Michael O'Hare (Capt. Sinclair of Bablyon 5)
Stan Lee
Peter Woodward
Mary Kay Adams (N'Toth of Babylon 5)
Virginia Hey (Farscape)
Erin Gray (Colonel Dearing of Buck Rogers)
Dean Stockwell
Armin Shimmerman
Terry Nation (worked behind the scenes of Doctor Who)
Sophi Aldred (Ace on Doctor Who with Sylvester McCoy)

Author - Peter David (he lives locally, so I've seen him around town and of course at I-Con since he's worked on Babylon 5).

There are definitely more that I have met through this convention that I can't remember off the top of my head.

Was he there filming a "Thunder in Paradise" episode? I used to love watching that show and seeing all the places in WDW that I had been to.

Trace Adkins. We were on vacation and I passed by him in the hallway of the hotel. He grinned and said Hi.

I just have to say my "coolest" celebrity meeting was the REAL Pumbaa and Timon, together! And I have their autographs!

In 1993, Ernie Sabella and Nathan Lane were in a Broadway show together ("A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum"). I was a big Pumbaa fan (don't ask, have since recovered!) so I brought a card with them to the show and see if I could get Ernie Sabella to sign it at the stage door. He was very gracious, told me I was probably his oldest fan (he was probably right) and wished me a "Hakunah Matatah." He went back inside, and came out again with Nathan Lane (this was probably before Nathan Lane became well known). He made a bee line back to me and said "She's our fan!!" I remember Nathan Lane looking at me like I was crazy but he signed the card. I still have the card.

Carrie Underwood
Jimmy and Rosalyn Carter
Miss America 2013 Mallory Hagan

not really a celeb, but I have also met Ace from Real World Paris :)

My DSIL was the property manager of a mall years ago and she had Ludacris in for an event once. She said he was one of the nicest, most charming men she's ever met. Too bad the patrons at the mall couldn't act more mature. He was swarmed and fights actually broke out when he came out and he couldn't stay in that mess. DSIL was so disappointed. She worked really hard to put that event together and get him to come to town. :(

My best friend attended several classes with Joe Manganiello last year. She had no idea who he was until she saw him on Good Morning America after her classes were over. She said to her he was "just Joe"
