Celebrities You Thought Were Dead (But Are Really Still Alive)

I thought Bob Newhart was dead until someone said NO WAY. I googled him and sure enough-still alive!!

Anyone else have this happen to them?? I just know there are others that I didn't know about until after-the-fact.

My brother has this story that went something like this. He saw Bob Newhart in person and said something to him like "you look like Bob Newhart before he died." He had no idea it was really him and he was living until he was watching a talk show and Bob Newhart was interviewed and he was telling about his trip to where my brother lives and that someone said that to him! (My brother, foot in mouth, but now famous!)

I was convinced for years that Ron Perlman was dead. I dont know why - I guess I thought I heard it somewhere. My husband and I argued about it quite a bit. Then I found out he really wasnt dead and I was just crazy.
