(Must be the day for golfing questions.)

I was looking at the discount info on the member web site and noticed that there are also discounts at the Celebration Golf Club. While the discount at the Disney Courses involves buying the DVC Golf Membership plan, the Celebration discount appears to be a stand-alone.

I'm not much of a golfer myself, but one of the members of our party for our next trip is planning to Golf. He isn't a member, but obviously he will be staying in our room on points and will have the KTTW card that indicates "DVC Member."

Does anyone know if this will be sufficient to obtain the discounted rates at the Celebration Golf Club?

TIA.

Last month we played Celebration using the DVC discount and we weren't asked for any ID. Enjoy!

The last time I looked at playing there you needed to mortgage your house to pay the greens fee.

As I said, I'm not a golfer, but the rates on the DVC member site look pretty good. The before-4pm rate is only $55 per round (through September), and that includes taxes and cart rental.

The WDW courses are all in the $100 range. The best discount I'm seeing is 30% off for AP holders--and chances are the person in question isn't going to be purchasing an AP.

Thanks for the info, sratay.

Just checked it out. Those fees are way lower than before. I guess there weren't many takers.
