How fun. The one guy in the grey shirt looks so much like a guy I used to work with. But last I knew he still lived in Ohio. He was a big Disney fan though too. We used to talk about Disney trips alot.

OK, finally caught up again! Great update! Sorry the night was sort of a disappointment for you.

…but absolutely could not find the HM in the Peter Pan sign and trust me, I looked at it for awhile. I’m sure people thought I was, let’s say, special. lol

Is it more of an abstract one, using the two clouds in the upper left?

I forgot his name...Ron? Marc? one of those.

It was what it was. It was still a fun party, but it could have been a bit better planned. I'm not sorry I went or anything. guess I need to lower my expectations a bit.

I guess the clouds can be, but I dont' see it in the book. This is what the book says:

"at the lower right of the entrance sign, a cloud formation is an incomplete classic cloud Mickey. All you can see is the top of the head & ears. It's just to the right of the "t" in Peter & Peter Pan is standing btwn Mickey's ears"

I decided to take a trip to Paramus, NJ (not exactly far... ) since I heard there was a Disney Outlet in Bergen Town Center mall. Not a store but Outlet.

So, after driving and getting my road rage on, I finally got there. Argh. :headache:

The mall is very nice, and I did visit Century 21, Whole Foods, Payless and Target besides the Disney store...outlet.

Now, it's definitely not an Outlet. It's a store that has a marked down section. At first, I found nothing I wanted, but eventually picked up these at pretty decent prices. :goodvibes

Originally $24.50, marked down to $.99!

It will serve to remind me of my December 2009 trip, plus I like snowglobes!

Not marked down, but I love car toppers! $2.50

Originally $19.50, marked down to $9.99, cool PJs!

I like this pattern rather than other characters, will bring this with me in October!

March 6 – Epcot Day!
The Flowers & The Gardens

The last I left you I headed back to POP after a night at Magic Kingdom for the D23 party.

I might have taken these awful POP pics then….

I don't think anything notable happened, just getting some shut-eye and setting the alarm.

I woke up ready to hit Epcot! and the flowers, garden within! But before I went, my sister sent me a surprise!

look what just got delivered! wow!
8:00 AM Mar 6th

P3060531.jpg

It was full of all kinds of good stuff to eat and drink.

And this too. $40 worth of goodness!! Coupled with the giftcard upon check-in, my food was covered. Woot!

..and look what else? SCORE! lol
8:02 AM Mar 6th

P3060532.jpg

I took the pics and booked it to the bus stop to head to Epcot. And according to my tweets, we made it in record time! And it was cold.

waiting for Epcot to open...it's COLD!!

We entered and I took a few entrance photos and headed to Rope Drop to watch the festivities.

a look back...
P3060539.jpg

Each park is so different in their drops; MK is in the very front of the park; AK have to walk a bit to the tree-ish area, DHS is front of the hat and Epcot, it’s all the way in the park.

Anyways, we finish with rope drop, which is highly entertaining. ….

Here they come!

…and then scoot to Soarin’ to pick up Fastpass! According to my tweet, it was 9:05am when I got the FP and it was already to 9:45am. But then I decide to go on Soarin’ since the wait was non-existent. It felt a little like cheating. But awesome!

got a fastpass at 9.05am for Soarin for 9.45am! going fast! that was CRAZY!
9:07 AM Mar 6th

P3060557.jpg

never done this before - got a fastpass for later on the ride I'm on! is this cheating?
9:11 AM Mar 6th

you are most welcome! i'll be back soon!

After my first ride on Soarin’, I headed for Sunshine Seasons and got myself a kids breakfast of French toast & juice. I had the bigger adult before and it’s just too much. This hit the spot in the belly & the wallet for $4.68. :thumbsup2

After, it was time to use my FP, so off I went! Yay.

After this ride, it is now 10am and I’m happy with my pace so far – a rope drop, 2 Soarin’ rides and breakfast. And then I get another FP for Soarin’. Cause I’m nutty like that.

epcot has been open for 1 hr & i have rode soarin' twice & ate breakfast at sunshine seasons. hehehe
10:06 AM Mar 6th

and then, I'm off to......

After Soarin' & Sunshine, I head over to Innoventions, but I do stop for any F&G topiaries. I like gazing at them.

I need to get over my roller coaster issues, so I decide to get myself at Sum of All Thrills. I make sure I can fit in the seat and the wait is 20 minutes.

hmm,.sum of all thrills has a 20 min wait. i also got another fastpass for soarin for laters.
10:33 AM Mar 6th

This is a virtual roller coaster that you make up yourself, after doing the pre-show that does a math gabfest, but cute. It does take a minute to figure out how to work it, but it’s pretty self-explanatory and there are CMs there. It teaches the math for the ride that you need to go faster to ride faster or do any turns or loops.

design lab is where you create your ride experience
P3060564.jpg

After you finish setting your ride, you get a plastic card with your information on it and you walk up to here the robotic arms are. Then they harness you in and off you go into a 3d world. You don’t even notice you’re on a robotic arm. It was quite fun!

After Sum of All Thrills, I head out to experience more of the flowers and the gardens. I definitely made sure I hit the Fairy garden since I wasn’t able to do that last time.

Yes, I agree. Last March, I was there I as leaving right before it started and in May, I didn't have a chance to see everything. This time, I took my time, smelling all the roses. :goodvibes

You got some really good pics of all the toparies! :goodvibes I want to plan a F&G trip now! :rotfl2:

It's a nice time to go. You should!!! :thumbsup2 But I have *plenty* more pictures coming up for your viewing pleasure.

Great pictures. I love the pixie Hallow area. I would love to see it some day too.

..and got these fab purchases!

you find Disney at the most unexpected places! $8 for this canvas bag *and* it's lined inside. Awesomesauce!
MickeyBag.jpg

LafayettePurchase.jpg

-the B&W blouse $12
-the red blouse $15 (a Van Heusen!)
-the white underblouse $8
-the brown rose skirt $20 (was $130, a Jones New York!)

:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

for a frugal shopper like me, I was very happy with these purchases.

This was not even planned, we were planning to go for a boat ride in Pennsylvania, but it got cancelled due to rain in the middle of driving there, so we stopped here. As it happens, it stopped raining and we strolled the Village, then headed back home.

Great purchases!

Thank you!

Sorry about the lack of updates! I was super busy last week and unfortunately, got into a car accident on Monday morning. :sad2:

I'll get myself up to date very soon!!!
