I re watched all of the first 5 seasons (have 1 & 2 on DVD and then watched 3 & 4 on the computer and had all of 5 still in the tivo ) so I was ready...

I had a PTA meet that night and didn't get home till after 9:30 so we didn't start watching the 2 hr premier till 10 pm...but it was good....

yes I stay confused in a good way to Jordan...but somehow Matt always seems to catch things I don't

There was something off about the rebooted plane flight. desmond? where was shannon? hurley saying he was the luckiest guy in the world....I think it's not parallel universes, but I don't know what it could be.....

Loving it...cried AGAIN when Juliet died.

Yes I agree....did anyone notice Jack's hair was different on the alternate no crash version....Matt described as two alternate versions, not exactly parellel universes...but I think we are too see or learn that if that don't crash their lives would suck...wouldn't they? In some ways for some...

and how many more times are we going to see that poor girl die I can't take it...

here are the things we caught...

yes we know now the black smoke is the anti-Jacob, did you catch when Not Locke said to Richard nice to see you out of the chains...Matt says we now know he must have come on the Black Rock as a slave...

Jacob had to have known he was going to die, why else would he have given Hurley the case w/ the note in it....

did you see the kids at the temple? they were the little kids from the tail end...

and we now know how little Ben was saved after Sayid had shot him (the water)...

and we understand how the ash ring works...keeps the anit-Jacob smoke monster out...

plus Matt thinks the bomb didn't work actually becuase he thinks Juliet said the time flash occured before or just as she struck the bomb...need to re-watch parts of the premier to double check...

A couple weeks ago I ordered a pair of “Toe Strap Mary Jane Trekker Shoes” from Lands End:

I have some very similar shoes from Lands End too...mine don't have the criss cross straps more like a Mary Jane...where them plenty around the house w/ socks to break them in. I like mine as my in between winter to spring shoes...when you can get a way w/ no socks but not sandle weather...

I have worked the numbers and come to the following conclusion… I think I’m going to get an AP. Here is how the cost breaks down:


Or I could look at it using fuzzy Disney math... Instead of losing $89 if we don't return within a year and saving $300 with the GAD vouchers, I could think of it as only saving $210 with our GAD vouchers. I never really expected all four of us would get vouchers anyways...

Ok maybe cause it's early (well not that early...) but that just totally...confused me...

my guess is the AP benefits (discounts) only work off an adults card...?

wish I could be more helpful...I never considered the other benefits beyond just the park ticket savings...

First....love the shoes! I end up just wearing my crocs every day, but those look comfortable!

LOST!! LOVE it! I did catch the difference in Jack's hair and the slight differences in everyone's story line in the "alternate reality". I think Julie is right in that it is an alternate reality that is slightly different from what we know and not a RE-DO as Jack thought it would be. (Shannon stayed in Australia, no Claire on the plane, Desmond IS on the plane, Locke is not an angry bitter man, Hurley being "lucky, etc.) I also hope we see a happy Juliet in the new reality....maybe having coffee with Sawyer like she said right before she died?? Is it possible that when the bomb went off she could "see" both realities....she did tell Miles that "it worked". Who knows...just theories really! I can't wait to see how the season plays out!

I don't know much about AP's but it seems like it would be worth it just for the parking and dining savings. Plus...a great incentive to make it worth your while to go back in February!

I love how we're getting to see two story lines right now, even if it is confusing. I love the idea of them showing us how things would play out if the plane never crashed. I'm sure we're going to be showed how they all still meet and interact in one another's lives despite never making it to the island.

Okay I have finally caught up! Well I think the AP is a great deal. We definitely used our TIW card, and will continue to do so this trip -- so I think we broke even there and saved some too... I don't know if you can buy the TIW with a kid pass.. I am sure they will allow him to use it yes, but I don't think you can get the AP discount UNLESS the room is in his name... but I would check on that. Anyhow, cute shoes, and great preparations for your trip which is in less than 80 days!!! Hurray!

I'll have to consult with you & Matt after Lost every week! Lots of good things that I missed on my own! Too bad Tim doesn't like to watch it... I think he'd like it, but it's too late now.

There are lots of AP benefits beyond the tickets! Plus you can buy yours at a DVC discount - I'll have to pay full price.

Good idea to wear my new shoes around with socks - I figured I'd want to get used to wearing them barefoot, for blisters, etc., but I suppose it will help to wear them with socks for a while to get a head start.

The TIW card is good for a year from when you bought it, right? That's what I'm assuming.

We probably wouldn't be staying on-site so the room-only AP discount wouldn't really matter.

Unless I go down for a getaway without the family...

My only concern is if the insert (that comes with the shoe) is supportive enough where I need it. I’m wearing them right now and will try to break them in as much as possible over the next few weeks. If it’s warm enough, I’ll wear them when I go out walking with my neighbor, but that probably won’t start until March.

You can purchase supportive inserts at any running store and most sporting goods stores! I use them in my Crocs because I have high arches!

Great tip Kathy! I'll have to look for some. I have orthotics that I wear in my sneakers, but they only go under the back half of my foot, they don't go all the way up to my toes. I thought maybe I could put them in the sandals, but I think I'll have to take out the insert that came in the shoe, then I wouldn't have anything under my toes.

Hi Everyone! Just wanted to post a mini-update about what's been going on this weekend... Tomorrow Tim jumps in the ocean to support Special Olympics NH! We raised about $900 and our team raised about $3500. I'll let you know how much money the event raises after the post-plunge party tomorrow afternoon.

I've had a cold all week... my head was hurting yesterday, and this morning (when I woke up to Zach & a wet bed at 4:40... no he didn't go back to sleep ) I felt like I got hit in the side of the face with a baseball bat! I went to the doctor and I have a sinus infection. I started antibiotics around lunch-time so I'm hoping I feel a little better tomorrow...

DMIL & I were taking another look at J & K's high school calendar today and noticed that they have a prom scheduled on May 1st!! That would be the same May 1st that they are planning to be visiting us in Orlando! I was in a panic, creating a 5th version of our itinerary! I texted Jeff & he said he'd talk to the kids. Later on, Karen gave me a call and didn't think they'd be going to the prom. K is just a freshman & J doesn't have a girlfriend, but he's a senior... We left it that if plans changed they could just go back home on Saturday morning rather than Sunday morning. So we'll see...

The one thing that did stress me out a bit is that they are planning to come on Wednesday night after work, not Thursday sometime. Wednesday night we are planning to be at Chef Mickey's then MK for Wishes. And Thursday is our Epcot day... not that we can't still go to Epcot. They want to hang out at the pool on Thursday & go to Universal on Friday. Friday was the day I planned for a waterpark, thinking they might come. Karen thought it sounded like fun, but one of us would have to change our plans if we want to go together... Anyway, I played around with the itinerary a bit more and made a couple new ADRs... I'll share all of that with you tomorrow.

Happy SuperBowl Sunday tomorrow! I hope everyone's favorite team wins! The Patriots are out so I'll be watching for the commercials & to see if Tim wins any money with his little office pool/squares game. (And probably DISing...)

I checked with Tim & we are indeed rooting for the Saints! I guess I can agree with him on this one... he's a Yankees fan since he grew up in Southern CT, but he has become a Pats fan since he went to UNH.
