Oh no! I missed the lost wallet story. Was it found?

Basically Tim lost his wallet on our last day, at our last park, DHS. We headed to DHS after our afternoon break, rode TSM then split up. Tim took Alex to ToT & RnRC. Zach & I went to the Animation Academy. Shortly after the class ended, Tim called asking me if I had his wallet!

We retraced our steps, visited Lost & Found, but didn't find it. Tim even went back to the park at closing, after we cancelled all of his cards. Let's just say that getting back home without ID was interesting...

A week later Disney sent us his wallet - they had found it at the bottom of RnRC!

Yes - UGH is right! That was one wet weekend! Luckily it cleared up for our last day.

If we were staying on-site we'd definitely be leaving our valuables behind, but since we'll be driving, Tim will at least need his license... plus we'll need some sort of money, credit card or debit card.

oh boogers that is right...the car...tell him to use something smaller maybe something w/ a stratchy cord and hook on it that it can attach to his belt loop so if it slides out he won't lose it?

Today I took a road trip to Manchester to visit the Disney store!! I'm sure I'll be back again before our trip because they didn't have any sleeveless shirts yet and I'll need some of those for Alex. But here's what I came our of there with today:

Some Club Penguin Stuff for Zach, I gave him one of the toys today, but the rest will be for later, maybe for Easter...

I wanted to get matching shirts for our MK & Chef Mickey's day:
I got two of the gray ones for the boys & the red Club Penguin shirt I gave Zach today:

Mickey is for Tim, Minnie is for DMIL (we are going to give it to her for her birthday, which is tomorrow):

These are mine... The gray is to match the others and I just like the blue one:

Now that I look at Minnie & Mickey together I realize I probably should have gotten Minnie for me & the Minnie & Mickey together for DMIL. Oh well... they didn't have every shirt in every size so it might not have worked out...

I didn't get these today, but thought I'd share... Two new shirts from Lands End:

I got these two super light weight sweaters too... The first I got at Lands End with the shirts & the one of the right I got today at Old Navy:

I got these two pairs of shorts for Tim today at Old Navy, one has snapping pockets, the other has buttons.

And I picked these up for myself at Old Navy- wicked comfy! (Notice the small hole in the wall just behind the couch... You should always wear the wrist strap when playing Wii...

We have borrowed my mother's two mattresses in the past but thought it would be good to get some of our own.

We don't usually give major gifts for Valentine's Day, but there were so many things we wanted to get them for the trip and we didn't want to save them all for Easter.

Good idea!! I can tell you I won't be carrying a whole wallet this year... and maybe Tim can keep his license in the car?? But I'm not sure if it's safer to just carry one card - it could be hard to lose that too?

Did you enjoy Lost this week? Do you think the black smoke monster guy/Locke can only get off the island if he goes with Jacob (or the new Jacob/Sawyer)? Jacob seemed to be able to come & go freely on his own, but it sounds like "Locke" needs the "good guy" to get him off the island??

Yes - The main reason I went to that mall was to go to the Disney store - it's the closest one. All of the Mickey & Minnie shirts are from the Disney store.

Thanks Carissa! I love the blue Mickey shirt... that's how I ended up with 2 shirts for me. I wanted a gray one to match everyone else, but loved the blue one so I had to get that too.

We love DHS! It doesn’t seem like we do a lot at DHS, but maybe that’s why we love it so much… we can hit our favorites and everything else is gravy! Zachary wasn’t a huge fan until our last trip when we discovered Toy Story Mania & the Animation Academy. Alex has loved ToT since he first rode it in 2007. He was almost 7. He’ll ride it over and over all day if we let him. We made the mistake of letting Zach ride ToT when he as 4 (also in 2007). Alex is also a huge fan of Rock ‘n’ Rollercoaster. He was finally tall enough last year & LOVED every minute of it! Zach wants to ride this year… but he’s still afraid of ToT… We’ll see…

Our favorite memories from DHS:
• 2009 – Toy Story Mania!!
• Animation Class with Zach
• RNRC
• ToT
• Fantasmic in 2006

Our plans have us spending our first day at DHS. On Monday, April 25th we’ll arrive before rope drop so we can go to Will Call & cash in our GAD vouchers for our one day tickets. We also need to visit Guest Relations to get Alex’s GAC. We’ll probably get one for Zach at that point as well. He may or may not need it. We ended up getting him one half way through our trip last year. It’s probably better to get it early and hold on to it just in case…
I want to attempt to ride TSM first thing through the stand by line. Since we’ve either used FPs or a GAC to enter TSM we’ve never seen Mr. Potato Head. After that we’ll probably head down Sunset Blvd. to visit ToT & RnRC. We have a late breakfast ADR at Hollywood & Vine at 11:15. We hope to have some yummy breakfast food for lunch, but also have lunch food available so Alex can get his fill of chicken nuggets.

After lunch, depending how much we have accomplished & how much more we want to do, we’ll hang out in the park for a bit longer, then head over to Epcot for our 5:10 dinner ADR at Teppan Edo. We may or may not take a mid-day break before heading to Epcot. Monday is an EMH pm at DHS so we may encounter crowds, but we’ll plan to get out of there if it gets too busy. However, there is no Fantasmic this day so that should help the crowd levels.

We will probably be back at DHS on Day 4, Thursday, 4/29 or Day 5, Friday 4/30... depending on which day we go to TL or BB. Thursday or Friday will be our Epcot Day then we might hop over to DHS. We’ll probably just plan to hit our favorites… TSM, ToT & RnRC and anything we missed from our must-do list. Thursday is a good day to visit – no EMHs & no Fantasmic, but it’s only open until 7pm. Friday will be crazy because they are showing Fantasmic at 8:30, but that means the park is open later. So we'll see...

We may also be back to visit our favorites on Saturday 5/1. This is also a Fantasmic night and an EMH morning. So we’ll plan to be in & out if we end up there at all.

2010 Wish List: We don’t have a lot on our wish list….
• Toy Story Mania
• Tower of Terror
• Rock ‘n’ Rollercoaster
• Indiana Jones – I think Zach will love this!
• Animation Class with Zach
• Visit the characters in the Animation area

What we won’t do this year…
• Fantasmic – unless they add more shows.
• LMA Stunt Show – Saw it last year… We’ll try to see Indiana Jones this year.

It's Club Penguin all the time here for Zach! He loves it! I also got him the Club Penguin game for DS. We might give it to him at Easter, but now I'm starting to think we should wait until the day we leave for our trip so he doesn't play it too much before we go.
