YAY YAY YAY YAY YAY!

So when does he have to go back? Does he have to go back on the 26th in time for work on the 27th?

Come on Mr. Boss man! Give DBIL a few more days off so that he can enjoy our vacation!!!!!!

His boss is actually the good guy... the worry was that a position might open up for his promotion, and he'd have to jump right into it. If he's not there, he could potentially miss out and start the waiting game for a promotion all over again, and he's been eligible and waiting for a spot for a few months now.

From what we're looking at right now, he is guaranteed Fri Sept 25 & Sat Sept 26... and he is more than likely going to have Sun Sept 27 & Mon Sept 28 as well... meaning he will be with us for Grandmom's birthday lunch at 50s Prime Time!

Keep those fingers crossed! This is time off without taking vacation days so far... (two days off one week, two days off the next week) ...he should have a few vacation days now too, but with all the activity in the district right now, it would look much better for him to be back sooner and not take extra days now. If it weren't for the fact that we have to get him an airline ticket to return (and don't want to wait until the last minute when we risk no availability or higher fares), we could've been playing it by ear and potentially kept him with us for 2-3 days more! But something is better than nothing!

Alright so here we are!!!! T-12 hours until we leave for Disney 8). I am SO SO SO excited.

DSIL and DBIL and the kids left this morning, and should have arrived safe and sound at DBIL's parents house where they will be visiting tonight, and then heading off to ASMo tomorrow! I don't know much about their journey, except that they have an insanely packed car, and two kids who may or may not be surprised with going to Disney this week. DBIL IS able to make part of the trip! YAY. He'll be going for a long weekend, and coming back home to hopefully a promotion on Tuesday. So we're very excited that we'll be able to see him as well.

We head off tomorrow at 7am for the airport for a 10am flight out of LGA, NY. We're pretty much all packed, and DH surprised me with a new Dell Mini Netbook which will be perfect for the trip. I'm setting it up with all of my programs and stuff now, while DH is ripping some DVDs for it for the plane right (It doesn't have a DVD or CD player in it, but that's okay). It's so small and tiny and I'm in love!

Anyway, so our flight takes off at 10am, and we have a stopover in Atlanta. DMIL is meeting us in Atlanta, and we both have the same connecting flight there. So that will make the second leg of the trip a little more exciting. I hope Baby remembers her well enough to want to sit on her lap for part of that leg.

So here we go! I'm probably going to sign on internet one day while on the trip, but I don't know if I'm going to get on here or not. So if I don't see you have a wonderful week and if you are a Dis'er who will be down there this week make sure to wave hi!
