Celebrating Easter 2011 on the Magic

So, I recently changed our Palo dining reservations to overlap formal night. This way DH only has to "dress" for one occassion. For those of you whom have cruised with Disney previously, what is the general attire for women. I had assumed a cocktail dress would suffice however the CM with whom I spoke said a ball gown. I have frequently cruised other lines and never saw fit to wear a ball gown. Any advise is greatly appreciated.

This will be my third disney cruise and I have yet to see anyone in a full blown ball gown...I believe a cocktail dress with work wonderfully (since that is what I have packed for the occasion).

Just about done with mine but older boys are getting the best of me!! No idea what to do for them.

One of the reasons I called was because dh was taking dd to the movies to day and I didn't want him to bring her to one that was playing on the boat! LOL I was hoping for Hop or Rio.

I have just learned that there are turkey legs (just like the ones in the parks) on the pirate night buffet...YES!

A quick question to my fellow cruisers...anyone doing an excursion on St. M or St. T? I had one for St. M but cancelled after reading posts on the forums about how nice it was to do the island on your own.

It's 37 degrees and raining in the Chicago area today. Couldn't be a better day to get on the plane to Orlando. 3 days at AKV and then over to PC on Friday. We are ready for sunny and warm.

We are surprising our boys with this Disney cruise for Spring Break. Needless to say, they have NO idea! I can't believe that my husband & I kept the secret this long.
Has anyone seen the weather for next week?

My dd doesn't know either and it has been HARD packing and getting everything done. She will think we are at WDW but will find out when we give her the Cruise Minne on Saturday morning. She doesn't even know we are going to WDW either! LOL I have looked up the weather and St. Maarten and St. Thomas are showing showers....I wasn't even worried about the weather till someone mentioned it last week. I will be bummed if it rains our whole cruise.

Did we decide on a time to meet at Promenade Lounge - 3pm? I think safety drill is 4pm?

We better all do a sun dance as the forecast is NOT looking good for next week - showers/scattered showers every day and scattered t-storms on Friday near Bahamas (Castaway Cay day). I was so looking forward to some fun beach days and hope the storm system blows through quickly!

I am praying for SUNSHINE all the way. I finished packing or shall I say overpacking! I'm waiting for DH to come home so we can weigh the suitcases.

OK- Is anyone as stressed as I am? I have been out of town all week and just got home.... no, I haven't packed!

OK-to all of my FE friends- I have split the cost of everything with my BFF who is also doing the FE. We have done several gifts, enough from 2 families - but because we couldn't decide what came from who- we just put both of our names on everything! So, I hope no one is offended, but I think you will like the gifts! I didn't want anyone to think they were "short changed." I hope this is ok!

I am stressed too!! Finally finished packing pulled out the cameras and the charger for the underwater I bought last time we cruised is missing. Hopefully DH can find it tomorrow because we are leaving as soon as I get home. He and the kids are off.

Fish extended gifts sound great. I just finished packing that. Took up more space then I thought. I think I WAY overpacked. We've never brought this much luggage anywhere!!

3:00 sounds great for a meet. See everyone then!!
