Any ideas on how to celebrate an adult males birthday in DW? Nothing romantic. I was just looking for something that may draw some birthday attention to him. Actually I'm not sure what I'm looking for. Throw some ideas at me. We are not going there specifically to celebrate his birthday. It just happens to fall while we are there. I dont really know anything because this is our first time going.
thank you
i forgot to mention that I will have my ds4 and my dd5 with me, so no adult only entertainment.

When Im at WDW in Nov celebrating my 50th Im doing

Segway tour
lunch w/princesses
Lots of Off Kilter shows!
Wishes birthday cruise
GF for slipper dessert

I celebrated my birthday in WDW in 2004, and had a blast! My birthday is in October, so Epcot's Food and Wine Festival was going on. I met with some friends that live locally, and we ate and drank our way around World Showcase. We had dinner at AKL (where I was staying for the trip), then went to Jellyrolls for the night. It was a fun way to celebrate the day!

We had dinner at Coral Reef for my fiance's birthday. I arranged for a diver to come out with a Happy Birthday banner and had a special menu done for him. He loved it.

I suppose the diver with the sign costs money. Do you mind me asking how much?

I dont know if it costs money, but there are limited times and limited number of divers per day. Someone here will probably see this and know specifics about it..

I'm interested in anyone's responses, too.

We are going in December to celebrate my DM's 60th with about 20 or so of our family/extended family joining us. :yay: We've scheduled all of us at the Spirit of Aloha show one evening before MVMCP....I think my DSIL has ordered a cake.....need to double check.

Are there any other special things we can do, that wouldn't be too late to arrange? We've got a bunch of tots with us, so nothing too wild and crazy!

Make sure to get a birthday button when you get to the park or check into your hotel and note it is your birthday on all your hotel and restaurant reservations. You are not guaranteed anything but when I was down there a few years ago for my 45 birthday with my boyfriend, I received lots of birthday greeting, some free deserts and a Magical Moments certificate.

We just returned last Friday and we celebrated my mom's 80th birthday while there-- first with the birthday button.... then
a personalized menu at the Coral Reef for her. I had sent in about 12 pictures by email to Debbie to put on it.
They seated us right next to the aquarium and then our diver came by with a special sign for her. What a surprise!
Our reservation was at 6:30, and we were there about an hour before the diver came. We saw divers begin swimming around 7 pm.
Also, since it was noted on our dining reservations, at every table service, they brought out something special for her with a candle.
You can also order a 6 inch $12.50 cake that serves 4 to 6 when you are entering the restaurants. They will add the name. Other specialty cakes must be pre-ordered.

The diver and customized menu do not cost anything.. You just need to call Coral Reef and have it arranged. They will give you an email address to send pictures for the menu.

Do any other restaurants in Epcot do the special menu? We are eating at Le Cellier for lunch on my birthday in March & I think my kids would get a kick out of something like that. How do you contact them?

Go to the Adventurer's Club and catch a couple of the shows! They're absolutely hilarious - the CMs interact with the audience. (I got pulled up onstage two weeks ago and got to be part of their "radio play" as Inga, the Swedish fiance of one of the adventurers. Too fun!)
