Celebrating a Birthday Two Weeks Later

Would I be able to celebrate a birthday for my daughter's 17th birthday at a restaurant and have them bring a piece of cake or sing happy birthday two weeks after her actual birthday?

If yes, what restaurants would be the best to do this at?

Are you talking about at WDW or in general. In either case, they don't care when you celebrate, they'll help in the celebration.

*puts on flame retardant suit* I think it is fine. When my daughter turned 3 she really didn't get alot in presents because she was going to Disney for her birthday. We went 1 1/2 weeks later and celebrated it at Chef Mickey's. That was her birthday trip, it may not have fallen exactly on her birthday but we went to celebrate it. It will make for a happy birthday!

I don't think restaurants assk for ID to make sure it's really a birthday! Go ahead and do it!

I can't imagine why anyone would have a problem with this. It's not like you're going around town to different restaurants every day for 2 weeks asking for free birthday things at each of them! Some restaurants don't even give you anything free, they just sing to you. As far as which restaurants do special things for birthday's, I think most of the chains would provide a piece of cake or something similar. I remember seeing this at Applebies and I think Outback does it too. Damons by us brings a dessert and puts your picture on the TV screen in the clubhouse. Embarrassed my kids something awful!

When I waited tables at Farrell's, birthday's were big deals. We did give the birthday person a free sundae, and we sang to them and made big announcements. It wasn't at all uncommon for a family to come in and celebrate several birthdays that were close together. Basically, they'd just make one trip for all the birthdays that month.
