 Our upcoming trip coincides with DH's birthday :love2: and I've been wracking my brain thinking of how we can celebrate, other that getting the birthday buttons.
After reading the thread on :cake: I find it hard to work out if it's worth trying to order one after sooo many people have had bad experiences. Just looked at the Disney Florist website and din't find anything suitable considering the costs.:confused3 :confused3
We do have a meal booked on the day at O'hana for dinner but don't think we could manage to eat a birthday cake too.
We will be stopping at All Star Movies does anyone know if they could arrange a surprise eg balloons etc and for DH in our room when we get back from MK that day? Is it worth 'phoning them closer to the time to ask what they can do? Any ideas welcome:love:

I will be at WDW for my birthday 4 May  and printed the pages from the link below for my wife :rolleyes1 might be useful for you.

I have booked a character breakfast (no not just for me, for DW and DD too!) at Crystal Palace, spending the day and evening at MK, fitting in earl Dinnar at Whispering Canyon.

hope this helps

Rob

Have you thought about taking one of the tours? We did the segway tour at Epcot on DH' birthday a couple of weeks ago and it was great - well worth the money :thumbsup2

I also ordered a cake from in-room dining but I will say that it was a waste of money as we only ate 3 or 4 small pieces and I ended up chucking more than half of it away :sad2:

:surfweb: I did give the tours some thought a while back but given the time of year we will be there it will be very hot and humid and DS7 may have trouble keeping up (he's only got short legs) so it will have to be a quick tour. When he's older we may do the Segway tour the age limit I seem to recall being 16 or older. The Family Magic Tour seems ideal and a great price $27 pp. :thumbsup2

Thanks Rob for the link, we'll be getting the birthday buttons and I'll mention it at Guest Services on our arrival at our hotel. Now if only Disney Dream Team and YOAMD could help us.... LOL:cool1:
