GREAT update Nichole! GROSS about the pool! Loved reading about your positive experience at the Grandstand pool though Sorry about the busses! Were they bad the whole trip? Dis meet looked so fun and I LOVED the pictures!! Looking forward to more!

Yes it was rather gross . The Grandstand pool was nice though. More than half of the trip the bus service wasn't good. We waited 30-50 minutes half of the time. The 50 minute wait was at DTD which is strange since it's so close. We would have taken the boat but it raining. A few times though we only waited 10 minutes . They had a lady at the bus stop timing the buses but even she thought 30- 40 minutes was acceptable.

I'm so glad you got the Grandstand section at SSR! It does have the nicest quiet pool. (Yuck about the main pool biological spills!!)

Such fun to have a DIS-meet! Wishes from the Poly beach sounds heavenly! That was a great place to meet because I'm sure if you were at the MK you wouldn't been able to have any decent conversation over the noise of the fireworks.

You all look lovely in that picture and I didn't even notice your "undergarment" until you pointed it out.

I can't believe you guys made it until after 9pm on your first day after your early start. I'd have passed out by 8. I like to sleep too much!

Thanks glad you here. Grandstand section was really nice as you already know. Poly was the easiest place to meet up since Sara and Becky were both staying there.

The quiet pool was really nice. The kids did get a nap though. Thomas took a short one the ME bus and Kaylee slept for and hour right after she took her shower. She had plenty of time since we had to unpack and get ourselves ready too.

Sounds like you guys are off to a pretty good start - aside from the pool situation!

As the mom of a 3rd year preschooler I can appreciate your disappointment with how the teacher handled the caps & gowns! Luckily our preschool doesn't wear them - except for school pictures and that's optional. I would have been very upset to have my DS left out last year!

Thanks for reading. I think it's silly for the preschools to wear Cap & Gown. But they should have least been consistent. I was upset that they excluded 3 of the preschoolers, just not right IMO. The cap & gown pics were cute though.

Not sure if I commented or not, I better make sure I subscribed. I agree writing a PTR is a good way to get to know people and get advice on your trip too . We had mixed feelings on if a rainy Disney was better than home. I think we felt that way in October but not so much this time. I think it was just too much rain and even with poncho's you would be soaking wet. Hopefully well get back next year though.

I just the last 90 minutes typing our fiasco at SSR and our waterpark day. it was a long update and just as I hit reply the power went out in our house. Of course it went right back on a second later but I lost all of my post. This is of course the one time I didn't use word. So I'll need to retype it all again later today.

Sorry about the pool issues. We had a pool issue too. There were so many rude people this trip. I think the rain increased the rude factor x 5.
