So I wake up to a little head coming down right on my face. Ouch. All though it is my two year old, and her head is small, it hurt. I guess she had woken up, somehow gotten out of the pack and play, climbed up in my bed, woke up and looked around the room, and then decided to go back to sleep. So as she was flopping backwards, she came down on my face, particularly my mouth. She starts crying because it hurt her head, Dh starts crying because she is kicking him in the face with her feet, (ok, he wasn't really crying, but he was complaining none the less), and I am sitting there tasting blood in my mouth, thinking for sure I had a tooth knocked out or something. Never fear, it was nothing. But I must say, our teeth are pretty strong. My kids have taken many hits to their mouth and still not had a tooth come out. Princess has even hit her mouth on the table so hard that her teeth went all the way through her bottom lip, but still no teeth came out. That's another story though, and I am tired of getting myself sidetracked. Back to Disney.... So, there is a lot of crying going on because now the boys have all woken up and are in a bad mood because they weren't quite ready to get up yet. So what am I to do??? Get out the school bread of course. Yes, the sweetness of the cream mixed with the doughnutiness of the pastry makes everyone all better. Except for DH who didn't get as much as he would have liked. Oh Well, that is what happens with kids. You give them food, they slobber all over it and then decide they only want a couple of bites, and you are left staring at the slobbery mess of school bread that could have been yours had you not put so much on their plate. It was about 6:30 when Princess(DD2) woke everyone up, so we decided to go ahead and get ready for the day.
We get to the bus stop and load up and then I see her getting on the bus. Mullet Lady!! So I started taking pictures of my kids hoping to get her in the background. Let me see if you can see her in any of my pictures. Darn, I wish I could get these pictures bigger. You can almost see her in the second picture. She is three people back on the right. Too bad that pole was in the way as well. You can also see the kid in the black shirt on the left staring at her. He had probably never seen a hair style like that before.
Then here is my sweet, head smashing, Princess!
I kept seeing Mullet lady all around DHS. Everytime I would see her my DH would say, "Hurry, get your camera out" and then by the time I would get my camera out she would be gone. Maybe she fixed her hair like that because it made her super speedy, because she would be gone in a second.
Anyway, we made it to the front of rope drop and waited for the rope to come down so we could follow the race to TSM, and race we did. This morning we made all the kids sit in the strollers so that we could go quickly to the main event. I told DH while we were busting it over to TSM to park the strollers while I got FP's and then go ahead and get in line. I went to get FP's, and DH parked strollers, got the kids and headed over to TSM except he didn't get in line. I was still in line for FP's when he made it there, but he was not about to get in line without me. So about a hundred people got in line in front of us, but that was fine by me. It probably only set us back about 10 minutes and I didn't want to have to walk past 100 people to get to my DH because I was afraid I would have gotten yelled at, or spit at or something. So we all got in line at the same time and waited about 15 minutes.
Here are Goofy(DS7) and
Lego(DS6)
and Princess(DD2) sat with DH this time
this one is actually from when we rode it the second time, later in the day, but I am just going to go ahead and post it now. Princess(DD2) had figured out how to make the gun work.
After our ride was over we came out and noticed that there was a character area with Buzz and Woody. We went in and there were only 2 families in front of us, so we got in line. Here were some props in the waiting area. In this first one Donald(DS4) was getting mad because the brothers were in his way and he couldn't stand on the little step they had there.
I told the boys to move over and let Donald(DS4) in. Sometimes it sure is hard for Donald(DS4) being a middle child. I do feel bad for him because the older two boys always pair up and he gets left out. My poor, sweet, Donald. Life is so tough at four years old.
See, yet again, Donald(DS4) was left out of this one. It is so hard sharing the attention.
and of course, Princess(DD2). Now Donald(DS4) will probably be mad because she is getting a solo.
We made it up to Woody and Buzz.
Whew, I found a solo of Donald(DS4)
Princess wasn't too sure what to think of Woody's large size. Get your mind out of the gutter girls, I am talking about the character.
Then Woody and Buzz didn't want to trade books, so they played a little game.
Group picture
I don't know what Woody was doing in this picture.Haha
My DH is always doing thumbs up in pictures. So the Woody and Buzz did it with him.
Sorry for the short installment, but I have to go get the kids from school.
I want everyone who is following along on this TR to post a picture of you and your family!! This includes all of you lurkers out there. I love to get to know everybody, and this helps me to get to know you all a little better!!
