Cel Phone Rentals

Does WDW rent Nextel or some type of cel phone that would work for a group of 12?
We bought cheaper ($50.00 a pair) walkie talkies last time we were in WDW and they didn't carry very far and we picked up every other conversation thru out the park

Years back, a company (actually a sponsor here on the DIS) In-Touch, rented Nextels, $8.50 a day. We rented 4 of them back in '99 and they were wonderful, really helped make the trip perfect. They dropped them off at the resort, waiting when we arrived, one charger per two phones. We left them at guest services when we checked out for pick up.

With the popularity of the smaller handheld cells and reduction in costs of both the units and air-time, they went out of business in '00. I thought they had a real niche market there in Orlando, but, progress ousted them. I do not know of any current ones.
