I'm in Vegas for a convention (actually heading home now). I was staying in "upscale" hotel (SLS for those of you familiar with Vegas). When I got to my room, I was surprised to see a mirror on the ceiling. Yes, I know it's Vegas, but I wouldn't expect a mirror on the ceiling in this kind of hotel.

(Un?)fortunately, it was a solo trip. :rotfl2:

I had a picture, but my link isn't working.

So what do you think, is that marketable for the hotel?:confused3

It must be ... I guess. o_O

Seems cheesy to me, kind of 70's motel ... but then again I'm middle aged and highly doubt I'm their target demographic. :rolleyes1

Well - I've actually been in a room like that, but it wasn't necessarily the most upscale. We also crowded something like 8 in a room that was supposed to be for 4, but that's another matter. We got it at a special last minute rate because someone in our party was a travel agent and pulled out an IATA membership card.

We all kind of laughed at it.

Honestly, I think that's pretty expected for SLS. I think they try to be more "party" than "upscale." I'd be shocked if you said you saw that at the Wynn or Aria or Bellagio.

Are you sure it wasn't just four people and you counted their reflections too LOL

Actually, it was Circus Circus, Reno. It was also supposed to be one of the more "kid friendly" places in Reno. I think he bed was also on a raised platform.

The only thing that would have made it better would be a round bed.
