Not at Cedar Point, but at Great Adventure(6 flags). I've seen tons of people turned away. Once I remember a guy that must have been 7 ft tall.He tried the test seat in front of Batman and ....SURPRISE....didn't fit. He waited in the whole line with his friends and then got up to the ride and tried again(like they were trying to trick him or something with the test seat) and ......SURPRISE.....he didn't fit. I'm 5ft tall. Does he really think the same restraints that hold me in are gonna hold him in? There's alot more people my size than his so sorry. Maybe someone can build a big and tall park for people over 6ft 9 or something.Claudia1 said:I may be wrong but it seemed like larger hips and/or waists were more of a problem then larger chests (men especially). I didn't see anybody turned away from shoulder restrained rides, just seat belts and/or narrow seats.
Can anybody confirm or disagree?
i was saying that too! i spent a million dollars on very crappy and unhealthy food. i also gave a speech to my friends about how disney parks have far better quality food and selection. about how they had healthy choices. but then again i am biased.stinkerbelle said:oh - and not to beat a dead horse - but for a park that has restrictions on "size/weight" for their rides...they really don't help out much by having the CRAPPIEST food selection on the earth.
I couldn't find one remotely healthy thing to eat in that park unless I went to one of the sit down places!

Is your Superman the Ultimate Flight or one of the others? If it's Ultimate flight do you have a dual loading platform like GA or are you single like us (NJ)?OhMari said:I guess we aren't going to go to Cedar Point this year. I did notice at Great America in Gurnee some of the straps were hard to buckle, I just thought WTH!. I think the worst one was Raging Bull. At Batman the ride the have seats outside the area to let you test if you fit or not, the same with the new Superman Ride. Either I loose weight or my roller coaster days are done.

One day of eating junk food at a theme park does not make a person fat. So, stop blaming a theme park for serving junk food. I think theme parks are trying their best to adjust to a "growing" America while avoiding lawsuits. It's too bad it's come to this, but I really think people who are overweight need to take a good look at their lifestyle and stop blaming a theme park for discrimination. Lose weight for goodness sake and you can go on whatever rides you choose.

um, who was blaming CP for people being fat? We were complaining about the lack of choices and poor quality food and as well the new restrictions on ride size. they were 2 unrelated conversations. i was complaining about the food because i didnt feel healthy eating crap all day with all the greasy food.Disney01 said:Well, I don't think theme parks are to blame for the fact that 60% of America (100% of the DIS, judging from the respsonses) is making bad choices and are now overweight.
