But yet all of the people that question the vaccine are selfish. Some people are just a little nervous about putting something new and untested into their bodies, it's a simple as that. I mean, they at one point had to pull red m&m's for God's sake for giving you cancer. Why is anyone surprised that there are people that are skeptical when they can't even cure the common cold? I think it's a natural response and not just the pushback of the conservative folks or people trying to be jerks. I blame the thousands of commercials we've seen in our lifetime telling us that if we ever took XYZ medication, we may be entitled to a settlement. For some reason everyone is all mad at everyone else for being leary when this same science being touted as foolproof is the same science that created those drugs that people are being compensated for now. That being said, I'm sure I'll get mine as I want to travel etc...and if I turn into a lizard or something then that will just be par for the course lol. Anyway, I can see both sides of the coin.As for the human foetus objection, I personally see that as being no different to an organ donation. If I needed a transplant, I'd happy accept an organ from anybody regardless, so as long as the organ is suitable. If I accepted a vaccine that was derived from a human foetus, then likewise, I wouldn't mind. Again, it all boils down to the common weal of humankind and scientific progress. The objectors need to face up to the facts: if they continue to object, then we'd be stuck in this mess for a very very long time.
