CD: Has anyone done Bidz.com??

I was looking at doing this. Some of the items are selling for pretty cheap. My question is...do they based the shipping price off of the VALUE of the item or what you paid for it? I only ask because there are some items that I like that if they did it on the price that it is selling for my shipping would be like $10, but if they did it off of what they are saying the value is I would be looking at like $35. Any help??

I bought a necklace for $2 and my shipping was $10.95 (I think they base it on weight.) So my total OOP was $12.95 and I got a $22 credit in less than an hour. So a $9 profit (it was really a $14 profit since I used $5 in existing paypal from a Pinecone survey to pay for it as well.)

I think their shipping starts at $7.95 but goes up from there. I would spend more than $2 or $3 on anything form Bidz for this offer.

I was just reading and it appears that it goes based on declared value...the items that I was looking at is DECLARED at $12k so then shipping would be $99. I am sure it is a good deal still, but more then I want to spend sight unseen. I will look for a cheaper item!

I did it and ordered my dd a pair if earring (so far she let me put one in lol). I paid $15.xx with shipping. I have not gotten credit year and had to file a non-credit forms.

Opps I take that back... just logged into cashduck and my $22 from bidz posted today.

Did you get me as a CD referral. the link you sent me just took me to teh cashduck site to sign in. In the referral spot I just put the whole link you sent me, which did have your name in it. Well you sent me a banner for a referral but wha I got to the site it did not have your name in it so I just pasted the whole banner to the referral spot. I wasn't sure that would work. I hope it did. I may only be at $15.00 but and money for you would have been a nice extra.

OOO...I didn't see that...hope there won't be any issues. You would think that they would since they are dealing with a good amount of $$ items.
