for those of you who have stayed at CCI, how are things on the bottom floor...as far as can you hear people above you really bad to the extent it will drive me  or is it bearable? Also, is it quieter towards the back or the front of the property? how are the crowds at the end of nov. (after thanksgiving) to first couple of days in Dec? Tis all I can think of atm but Im sure I will have more ?? later :bitelip:

We were on the bottom floor and had no problem. Actually we were right by the laundry facilities and i thought it was great. I never heard anyone above us. The only problem I had was one coldish shower other than that it was great.

We stayed on the top floor, on the left (Katella) side, a little more than halfway toward the back. The only noise we heard was our neighbor's shower, which was quite loud.

We stayed a couple of doors down from the hotel laundry room. We did not have any problems with noise unless you plan to sleep past 7 am. We could not hear our neighbors above us or next to us but the one morning we planned to sleep until 9 am I heard lots of noise (enough to wake me up and keep me from falling asleep). Needless to say I was up by 7:30.

Just got back today from a stay at the CCI. We had room 190. It was on the bottom floor right in the very front of the property. I do not recommed this room! We didnt have any noise from above, but it was the people walking on Harbor that we could hear until about 1am or so each night! Definately try to stay at the back of the property!

We stayed in the back on the bottom floor in a premium room. Kids were running up and down the hallway above us all hours and were very noisy and being right in front of where people parked wasn't good either as people were arriving and leaving at all hours also and that was also noisy. If you can, stay on the top floor at the back if you have your heart set on staying here....we are staying elsewhere next time.

yeah im really thinking this might not be the place for me...basically to keep from dealing with all the noise I have to be upstairs in the back which is far away from the breakfast room and shuttle and I cannot keep going up and down stairs and will never be able to carry food up there lol....and the difference in price between CCI and Sheraton is only $6 a night so Im really thinking of staying at Sheraton again...I love that place...

I'm quite surprised to hear that people were bothered by the noise at CCI. We were on the bottom floor just across from the pool area in November (7 rooms) and none of us were bothered at all by noise! We could hear people outside in the AM but it wasn't very loud, no louder than anything I have heard when people walk down the hallways of every hotel I have ever stayed in. I don't think it would have woken us up but can't tell since we had put in a wake up call for every morning so that we could do the parks before they got crowded (it was Veteran's Day weekend!). We have liked the CCI best of the hotels we have stayed around DL....and we have tried a lot of them....not the Sheraton I admit but the Hilton, DLH, PP etc. A large part of what we like about the CCI is the easy walk to the parks, that and the very comfy beds! :cloud9:

We have stayed there twice this year (march and may). We had ground floor rooms both times. We never heard people above us. The last trip the hotel was full of teens on a band trip- we couldnt even hear them, and teens can be loud! LOL Both times we were mid way to the back. Just slightly back from the pool area. We would sometimes hear people walking past our window, but it wasnt bad. It never woke me up or anything like that.

hi there, we just stayed there for 10 nights in may and i cant say enough good about this motel...we were on the second floor(our choice) and there was little to no noise.....i heard people passing our room about 2 times in all the days there, pool area was even quiet(until i brought my noisy 3 kids down there :rotfl2: )...i cant say what a bottom floor room is like, but we will definately be staying there next time we are back...
