CC Snorkel question

I see that it costs $25 to rent the snorkel equipment, and enter the snorkel area as many times as you'd like.
1) What if you bring your own, are you allowed to use it?
2) Do you have to wear the vest to be allowed to snorkel?
3) If you do bring your own, do you still have to pay to use the snorkel area?

Yes, if you bring your own snorkel equipment you are allowed to use it, and it does not cost you to enter the snorkel area. I am not sure about the vest, but I do not think you have to use one if you bring your own equipment. I am not sure about this, because we always just get ours from Disney. We always seem to have enough to carry on board, let alone snorkel equipment.

Even with your own equipment, they do require you to wear one of their vests. There is no charge for the vests if you have your own equipment.
