My first trip was back in '99 and they really didn't have any shady spots at the adult beach has this change? Is there a shady spot with maybe a hammock under it as i tend to burn easily? I understand to score the above i most likely need to be one of the first off the ship. Thanks for your help.

There are umbrellas but not too much natural shade, but more than there used to be:

There's more shade if you get farther back from the water. There are places back in the "bushes" that have chairs and more overgrowth for shade. You'll still be in the sand, just farther away from the water.
