CC Club Towel

We were on the June 12 Magic. We did not receive out towel on board. We received a note that said it will be sent to our house.
I did double check with guest services.

Is this a new policy? Are they doing this on the other cruises as well or did we just happen to hit a gliche in the system where the shipment didn't come in?

We had the same experience on our 05/29 cruise. Unfortunately no towel yet.

I loved the duffle bag and wish they would go back to that or give a new gift , the towel is nice but how many can one use?

Duffle bag?! Did I miss one?!
The only bags I've ever gotten are the big blue one and the black sports bag. I adore the blue bags...if I'd known they were going bye-bye, I wouldn't have sold my extras on Ebay. I have zillions of the towels by now.

Does anyone know when we can expect to recieve our towels? I was on the 5/23 Wonder and no towel yet.

I hope they are not going to be mailing them all the time now. I didn't pack a towel last cruise since I knew I would be getting one from the Castaway Club....It was Tuesday night before I got the towel in our stateroom, they said they had so many return cruisers that it was taking a while to get them all out. I had to buy a towel on Monday to use for the pool (I hate the tiny cruise ship towels) since I didn't know when the CC one was coming.

I don't know if this is their new policy or not. It seems like most people from June and May didn't get them. They told us it was because of a late shipment?????

Let us know when some of you from the May trips get yours.

I know I'm going to keep on top of it. I love my towel!

The black bag was very nice and very handy. You could use it to pack the 'extras' you end up with at the end of the cruise. The towel takes up extra room in your suitcase.

We have 2 towels and 1 black bag. I wouldn't mind a couple more towels so we would each have one, but it would be nice to have some new gifts (like maybe a photo album?).

Just got back from June 19 Western. We got our pins and a note that the towel would be mailed to our home. However, on the last day the towel MAGIC-ically appeared in our stateroom. Apparently a large shipment was received in Castaway Cay. HTH

Seems to me DCL may soon be dropping the "free" gift for returning cruisers. If they can't keep up with the quantity, sounds like they may start to cut corners.

i am assuming this is the gift for returning cruisers. each time we made a payment for our cruise, i added that we had sailed 2 years ago and gave them our names. is there anything else i need to do?

ganurse, yes the towel (and pins) are gifts given to returning cruisers. The gifts should be in your stateroom upon arrival. I don't think there is anything else you need to do. Disney should know that you are a returning cruiser. If you don't get the gifts, then speak to someone in Guest Services. HTH
