if they were to offer the challenge in 2018 what itenery would it be on and do you have to do the full or half that marathon weekend or would the 10k suffice? Since I have an obb placeholder pondering useing it for Jan in hopes they offer that again

If they were to offer the castaway challenge in 2018, it would be that you run the 5K, 10K, half, or full, then hop on the Dream 4nt that leaves on Monday after marathon weekend to run the challenge arriving on Friday morning.

In 2015, and I believe in 2016, it was just run a race marathon weekend. Pacing requirements of 16mm were expected.

For added excitement, you could catch the one flight out west to run Star Wars at Disneyland.

In 2015, and I believe in 2016, it was just run a race marathon weekend. Pacing requirements of 16mm were expected.

In 2015, they also offered a CC Challenge after Princess Half Marathon weekend in February as well as after marathon weekend in January. This year they only offered it after marathon weekend.

To be clear, you just have to do *some* race for that weekend. Even the 5K. Then you sign up for the 5K Challenge as well. (expensive way to do two 5Ks LOL) And if you haven't had enough 5Ks, twice now (and maybe the one Princess year, too) they've also run the normal free island run an hour or so AFTER the paid 5K challenge.

Thanks again. I think I may at least hold off until after marithon weekend registration comes out to see if 1) I get in for the 10k 2) if DSis and I decide on another itenory for our obb for an earlier date
