CC cabana massage vs. spa suite

We would like to do something special on the Nov. double dip.

How much was the spa suite massage for couples? How about the CC cabana massage? Was it worth it? Which one is better?

There is nothing more luxurious and relaxing than sitting in a hot tub on the spa villa verandah before your massage and watching the blue ocean roll by.

Was your Spa suite on the Magic or Wonder. I thought I'd read that only the Magic had these three new Couple suites. We'll be on the Wonder in Feb. and I wanted to book this treat for DH and myself.

I did a cabana massage last month. It was very nice but I did feel a touch exposed while getting dressed & undressed. I didn't walk down to the beach & look up to see what a person might see but I could see the heads of people over the bushes & such.
On the positive side, it was really, really nice to feel the breeze off the ocean (even if it did blow the towel off my booty one time!!) & hear the waves & such. I felt very relaxed & pampered afterwards. If I could convince DH, I'd definately do the couples cabana massage the next go-around (whenever that might be)
I have not done the spa suite so I can't speak to that. I would probably do a cabana massage next time we cruise Disney although I might do an 'indoor' massage while on the ship instead.

With the tip ($20) it was $159 IIRC for the cabana massage.

I hope the cabana massages are good because I am going to try it this time vs the massage on the ship. Either way I am still getting something relaxing.

The Magic has them now. The Wonder will add the new spa suites in October during it's drydock.

I thought the cabana massage was wonderful! I really prefered it to any other massage that I have ever had on any cruise ship. I would highly recommend it. I was on the Wonder- so I didn't see/experience the new spa suites. I wish I could remember the name of the woman who did my massage. It was one of the best massages I have ever had (I usually get at least one massage/vaca). She was awesome! I wrote about her on my comment card at the end of the cruise.

We did the CC Cabana massage(couples)! It was really nice and it was even nicer being able to share it with my DH (It was a late ann, gift to one another)
The gals where very sweet but be awhere that after you have it, you hate to leave because you want so bad to just stay and nap right there.LOL

This past February at the Captain's reception for CClub members he told us the Wonder will be getting the Dumbotron video screen, the spa suites and some other general sprucing up while in drydock this year. Enjoy.

The Spa Suite on the Magic is heaven!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

DH and I had the most romantic and relaxing time ever! It was worth every penny. You get completely pampered for over 2 hrs.

hottub spa time, treatment of your choice (we got seaweed wraps), full massage, and private time on the verandah sipping tea and eating fresh fruit.

I would recommend it to anyone!!

Ahhh...DH & I did this in FEB and it was HEAVENLY !!! DH said after..when we go back in Feb 2007, that is def one thing we are doing again!!! I agreed!!!

We reserved it the first day onboard. If you go to the spa in the afternoon the will give you a lovely tour of the facilities and then you can schedule. I know you can reserve spa reservations once you are within your time frame(same as Palo). We didn't book it ahead of time because DH wanted to surprise me and they wouldn't book it without putting the reservation online. DH didn't want me to see it.

I just did both of these on our June cruise and think the couple's spa villa will be MUCH more intimate for you. Yes, the spa villa for couples can only be booked onboard. Get there ASAP because they go quick I tell ya! I'm trying to remember what our couple's cabana massage was but I think it was around $250. I had the single spa suite for $260. These don't include tips. For the couples spa suite it's probably $350-$450. Is it worth it? ABSOLUTELY! You have the suite to dress and undress in, massages/treatment, hot tub time and let's not forget about tea and fruit out on deck afterwards. Pure heaven.

Ok now I am going to have to seriously think about the villas. I will have to ask my DH if he would like a massage also. He isn't really too big into these things. How long were you in the suite?
