CBR to BoardWalk... walkable?

on the map it look so close... can one walk (easily w/two kids in tow) from the Caribbean Beach Resort to the BoardWalk area? if not, does the bus go there? i was unable to find any info in my birnbaum's or unofficial wdw guide...

It is less than 1/2 mile, but you cannot really walk. There are no sidewalks at WDW except in the resorts. There is nothing but a busy street (6 lanes total, 3 each way) from CBR to BW. You could possibly walk in grass next to street but Disney security personnel very often stop walkers and request that they avoid doing so outside of resorts. Only Disney transport way is by bus; best to bus to MGM and walk or boat over from there. Fastest way is car or cab, which are very easy to get at the resorts.

This has got to be more than a 1/2 mile. Maybe as the crow flies, but not actually walking. Just from Epcot Resorts drive to the actual entertainment are of the BW has to be at least 1/2 mile.

There is no sideawlk, it's a busy road, no way I'd walk it.

Not very walkable, we just got back from CBR today, our first night was last sunday
and we decided to go to Boardwalk, we took a bus to DT Disney and then transfered to
the Boardwalk bus from there. From Boardwalk (after we ate and had fun visiting everything)
we took a boat to MGM and then a bus from MGM back to CBR...it was fun and no problems!
