Just booked a trip to CBR. Any recommendations for room requests.

Thanks

Martinique and Trinidad North are closest to the Food court, shops and main, themed pool. Jamaica is the prettiest of the villages and is located across the lake with access to the main area over a bridge and island. I Find Barbados to be the second nicest looking with Trinidad and Aruba tied for third. Martinique is my least favorite as far as looks go. I have stayed twice at CBR and both times I was assigned to Martinique!!! We were on the far edge near Barbados and the walk to the food court was about 5 minutes. If you get assigned to some of the farther out areas in Barbados and Aruba the walk could be about 10 minutes.

Welcome to the DIS!!
I have stayed in both Martinique and Trinidad North. They are both very close to Old Port Royale, main pool, gift shop, etc.. I prefer Trinidad North because there are only 3 buildings, so the quiet pool is very quiet and there is a nice sandy beach right by the pool, too. I was also very close to the bus stop. I'm sure you will love CBR, it's so pretty. Have fun!!:D

We stayed in Martinique building 25 this past summer. It was great. It was a 1 minute walk to the food court and passing the sandy beach was wonderful. Enjoy your stay!

I was in Trinidad North this past summer and it certainly didn't feel close to OPR to me. That's how spread out this resort is. Martinique is the closest. The great thing about Disney is there is something for everyone. I found Trinidad to be rather drab looking yet Martinique looked more festive. Depending on which building you are in, just plan on a bit of a walk to OPR.

Me and my family stayed at the CBR last Christmas and loved it. We stayed in Martinique 25. It was a quick trip to Old Port Royale to fill up our refillable mugs :D A short walk to the main pool and the boat rentals. The CBR is a very nice place to stay and I am sure you will love it.

We stayed at CBR in 2000 and LOVED Jamaica!! It was just far away enough from the busier main buildings and themed pool yet just a short walk over the bridge whenever we wanted a bite to eat or to dance with the steel drum band! We felt Jamaica was the prettiest looking village of all as well b/c it stays away from hot pink or orange. :)

We stayed at CBR in July, first time staying there and it is now my new favorite. As everyone does we requested martinique but couldn't get it we were in Jamacia 44(I think that was it it may have been 45) but it was right accross the bridge from Old Port Royal and was very nice we were by the quiet pool and not far at all from the bus stop. It seemed like Jamacia was the first stop for the bus's. I would request this area again.
