My husband, DS 2, and I will be staying at CBR in September. We will be there 4 days and 3 nights. I'm wondering if a preferred room will be worth it for us?

We have most of our meals planned out at other locations and plan to eat breakfast (from home) in the room a lot. We are driving, so we will also have a car.. so I'm not sure how much we'll actually use the bus service.

So, will it make much of a difference for us as to if we have the preferred location or not?

I've actually never stayed anywhere at WDW before.. so this is all new to me!

i'll be there for the first time in 4 days....:thumbsup2
I sprung for preferred b/c iv'e read how huge it is, and I don't really want to spend 15 minutes just getting to the main pool or food court, so the extra $20/nt. was worth it to me. T

The ONLY advantage of preferred location is being closer to Old Port Royale. If you have a car and your room is a far walk from OPR, you could drive there. No need to pay extra for location, I would think.

As far as the buses, preferred location doesn't get you closer to a bus stop. There is a bus stop for each of the 6 villages (plus one at OPR).

If you will have a car and don't mind driving to OPR, then don't pay for the preferred. It's really only handy if you don't have a car.
