CBR in January 2012?

I am considering a short trip January 26-29 and wondered if something is going on at Disney generally or specifically at CBR over those dates? I ask because the room rates at CBR (with an AP discount) are considerably lower (like half) than at the other Mods. And there aren't any AP rate rooms left available at all at POFQ. Anyone have any ideas? I don't want to stay at CBR if, for instance, the resort wil be populated with cheerleading squads or something! lol!

I'd be pleased if anyone could tell me as I've got a room booked at POFQ on those dates and I'm worried I've done the wrong thing. HElP

We are booked at CBR Jan 21-26 and I checked all of the event pages and found absolutely nothing going on again until Feb..hope I'm right!

I just added an extra night (jan 27) to our stay at CBR with no problem. I asked the CM is anything was happening that week and she said as far as she knew it will be the slowest week of the year
