CBR guests--centertown buffet question

new to the dining plan, and staying at CBR for the first time this year. We are wondering if anyone has tried the buffet for breakfast or dinner and what did you think? If I understand correctly, it counts as a QS meal (which seems like a great value), is that correct? Does anyone know if you can get alcohol with the dinner as a drink selection? I'm a little excited about the option of specialty drinks and booze on the dining plan--it was what made us try it this trip,

Is the buffet still open? We ate there twice last September and enjoyed it very much!

Yes, its still open. Looks like for breakfast and dinner. We will likely try each. Its a nice perk for all the construction. I have not been able to find out what drink options there are at dinner though.

We ate there for breakfast in Feb and thought it was fine (typical Disney breakfast buffet), especially for the price. The drinks I saw were just your basic food court type drinks, coffee, tea, juices, a soda fountain, ect. There is a bar outside but not in the same location as the tent, maybe 200 feet away if I remember correctly, so not sure about other dinner drink offerings.
