We are three weeks from our first Disney trip!!:hyper:

Question: We have two rooms reserved at CBR....we booked these back in October. Will they place these rooms side by side or adjoining since it is the same reservation??? or should I call and request it...or is it too late???? Any help would be great!!

What about requesting the refrigerators in the room...should I call and request now or wait until check-in??

I appreciate the help....we are newbies!!

I would call and request it. We did get lucky and had connecting rooms when we were there. It was nice. Grandma was in the other room. If you don't get them, I would make sure that they are close at check-in.

I requested the fridge at check-in. I am not sure if they have changed that policy or not. We only had one fridge though for both rooms.

Piece of adivse if you take Mears on the way in. Sit at the front of the bus, have one person go to check-in and have another wait for your luggage...otherwise you'll be behind all the others at check in on the huge Mears shuttle bus.

I would call CRO and have your request for adjoining rooms put in your reservation. Also ask when you check in. The CM's are great at trying to grant your request at check in.

I would ask for the refrigerator upon check in.

just to clarify:
Many people assume Adjoining rooms can be "joined" together with a door so that you can leave the door open and have a "joined" room. That sounds logical, but in "hotel language", adjoining rooms are just rooms that are next to each other. They may even be across the hall from each other.

If you want rooms that are right next to each other and have a door between them so that you can go from one to the other without going out in the hallway, you need to ask for Connecting Rooms.

Thanks for your advice and information, I really appreciate it...

Anyone have any favorite room in Martinique or the other preferred tower???

:sunny:

We loved Martinique. Great location. Close to the food court and main pool and a good bus stop since it didn't fill up before they got to us. Our room was close to the bus stop too, but I don't remember the room number. I love that place!!!

I must admit though when I would get to where the rooms are I usually always would walk in circles and always went the long way to the room. I never did figure that out. I should have stayed longer!! My kids loved when the bus driver called out the different names :)

I did say in my post that we requested connecting rooms. That's what we had too...with the door opening to the other room. We requested close to Old Port Royale, upstairs and connecting rooms and we did get all three requests which I know can be unusual.

We had ajoining rooms at Building 22 we had a corner room which is nice because you have more windows and the building it's self was not very far from anything...Great place to stay have fun...
