I bought some vouchers last November for our December trip. We used most of them and I was planning on using the rest on a trip over Memorial Day weekend. They expire May 31, 2003. Unfortunately, that trip was cancelled. :( No problem, I thought. I'll just return them, or better yet just exchange them for vouchers that don't expire until next year. They then informed me that only vouchers bought within the last 90 days are able to be returned or exchanged! So, now I'm just out the money I paid for them.
I didn't even want my money back! I just wanted to exchange them and would gladly have paid the extra to make up for the price increase.

So, a word of warning: Only buy the amount you KNOW you will use before the expiration date!

Sorry you had a hard time with the vouchers.Put them on the Dis Auctions or on e-bay...I know there are several people going before the end of May. You could make it one of the 3 day auctions and ship them out ASAP. Atleast you could get your money back. Good Luck!

Hi Deena!

Actually, they ARE up on the DIS Auctions. My DH put them there a few days ago, but no bites.:p

So, just wanted to put out a warning to others!

The Connections contract does say 90 days, they just print it so small and on the back of another sheet to make it difficult. I put my leftover voucher on the disauctions and it didn't sell so I put it on ebay. I broke even, if you get nervous about the dates end your dis auction early and put them on e-bay, you'll reach a bigger audience!

Or even offer them up here on a first come basis. If it was me, I would rather give them away than let them go to waste.

My membership expired in February 2003. Before it expired I had bought several Breakfast and the Quick/Casual vouchers for our April 2003 trip. The week before our trip my stepson was in a very serious car accident and was in intensive care for 5 days. During that time we decided to postpone our trip and rescheduled for July 2003. All of our vouchers expired May 2003.

I called Connections and the customer service person I talked to said she didn't have the authority to exchange them because it was past the 90 days however she suggested I speak with a supervisor and she took all my info and said she would have a supervisor call me within 72 business hours. Well, we played phone tag for about a week and a half. But..... she is going to exchange the vouchers for us due to the extenuating circumstances - She gave me the specifics on how to return them which I will be doing this weekend.

Considering all the "bad" things being said about Connections this is the first problem I've had and all seems to be going well considering that my membership is expired and it was past the 90 days of purchase.

I would definitely ask to speak with a supervisor.

I know we are not supposed to list the vouchers here for sale or trade, but I have found that everytime I check the auctions there are none listed so you quit checking.

If we could at least have a thread to alert of voucher listings I think traffic would increase.

Is this possible or would we be in violation?

I have a breakfast voucher that I would like to list but the traffic is not there.
