Who else is stuck in a complete collection trap and unsure what to do? I collect Little Monsters on Main Street pins. I loved the three nephews dressed up for Halloween. Then last year they 'spoiled' the collection by doing a Goofy dressed up for Halloween. I got the pin anyway, thinking it was odd and didn't go with the other pins, but I wanted the complete collection. Now this year, they do it again and do the Pooh gang. Arrghhhh! Part of me wants to skip the pin, it isn't what drew me to this collection in the first place and I am really, really not a Pooh fan at all. But the other part of me says I should get it so the collection continues...after all maybe next year it will be back to what I liked in the first place and I wouldn't want a hole in the collection.....although then again probably not. What to do, what to do.

That is a very hard cycle to break.
BUT I think down the road you will be glad you did get the pin.
If it were me, I would get it. If later you decide it doesn't fit your collection -- then you have a trader. :)

Actually, the Goofy pin was from 2001 and then in 2002 they had Chesire cat. I didn't know that this years was Pooh, oh so disappointing. However, you have to remember what the Little Monsters Event is all about. Halloween and kids at DL. Its there day and they are the real little monsters. They do a cast pin because so much effort goes into taking care of those little monsters, pun intended. When I was out in DL in 2000 I heard from a lot of people that the kids were getting tired of same characters, so they wanted to change things up.

Also remember the original pins were sets and were much much nicers. Now its just a simple pin.

As an avid Little Monsters collector, I think I'll pass on Pooh.

Happy Halloween

I would have to say that the AC choice set from WDW ha been a set I have stoped and started a few times cause of the change in pins.
