Next family reunion we have, I will hire someone to come in and cook our family meals. We are just not restaurant people and I like to entertain, so having it catered works on many levels.
For the cost of the dining plan, I'd rather have Chef prepared meals with better quality and variety.
Right now we purchase restaurant quality foods at Sams or COstco for DVC. They are easy to prepare and cost 1/3 the price of dining out. We get steak, chicken, lobster, crab, shrimp, salads, rolls, and veggies. We have great meals at DVC and my family loves it.
