Cat 4-Solid Verandah

I'm pretty sure the Cat. 4s are plexiglass. The solid ones are the handicap staterooms, and I think those are Cat. 3.

It's not everyday that you discover Barb may have made a mistake about the Magic and Wonder!! I may be the lucky winner. Actually, I was looking at the DCL 2003-2005 Brochure, and they now asterisk those cabin #s with solid metal Verandahs. It looks like the last 3 Cat 4s on each side just before the handicapped Cat 3's are Metal. These would be rooms 8090,92,94 and 8594,96,98. I tried to find a decent photo, and it does look like the solid metal does rise above deck level for aesethetics purposes to continue the solid metal look in that area.

Barb, I have a question for you. I know you like room 5650 with the larger verandah. I know you like the location (5th floor aft). I booked 6652 for the repositioner. Picked it because it has an even larger verandah. Any reason you like 5650 better than 6652? Thanks!

We have previously cruise in 8090 and 8092 (connecting 4's). One was partial plexiglass, partial metal and the other was solid metal verandah.

This was of course before we knew about the difference in plexiglass vs. solid. Now we make sure we get plexiglass.
