cat 11 deck 5,6 ,7

Hello can someone help me... I am trying to figure out what cat and deck to book on the disney magic. I was thinking about cat 11 and the decks offer are 5, 6, 7,. Also i have heard before about portrooms or something like that that you could request and get it for a lower price then a window room can someone please help me thanks again...

The secret porthole rooms are really hard to get! They are on deck 5, CAT 10, but you get a window.

We stayed in a CAT 11 on deck six and loved the location. I think I would try a CAT 11 on deck 5 if I were to book that cat again. It is closer to the kids clubs. I really wanted to be on deck five this time, but no CAT 10's open. We are booked into two CAT 10's on Deck 7 this time.

I would echo the previous poster. Deck 6 was very convenient, but deck 5 even more so. Also, I believe, there are fewer cabins on deck 5, so less hall traffic.

Deck 5-7 is really great, becasue you are in the middle of most of the action, no need to rely on elevators.

Mind you, the last trip we were on deck 7, and I really loved this location also.

The only deck, that we have stayed on, and was not "great" for me was deck 2.

We had 2 cat 11 rooms on deck 6, 6521 and 6515. These 2 rooms are set up diferrently than most cat 11. They are horizontal instead of vertical. I prefer this set up, it somehow makes the room seem larger (it may actually be larger). I believe these two rooms only sleep 3 however. It was easy to get to everything from this location.

We have stayed in cat 10 on deck 5, and 11s on both 6 and 7. Deck 5 is definately handy for the kids clubs, but other than that....there is no where on the ship that is not easy to get to. Some are handier for the atruim, some for the restaurants, some for the spa and pools (2 decks up from 7) and some handier for getting off at the ports. All are wonderful, just get me back on that ship!

We really like the Cat. 11 and have had them the last 4 or 5 times. We had cat. 6 verandahs before, but prefer the room layout of an 11, with the bed in the back and the living room up front by the door. We had cat. 11 on all three decks (5, 6, and 7) and all were great; last two times and our next cruise in March we requested deck 5, back by the movie theatre. This is in the aft of the ship and there are only a few rooms there. It is very quiet and very little hall traffic. We love it there. We also have had in the aft of deck 7 and that is nice too.

We had cabins 6049 and 6047 for our trip and loved them. They were super convienent to everything we hardly ever used the elevators!!

We rebooked the same cabins for our next trip.
