Castle's Around the World, Literally.

Okay. I have never been outside of Florida. The fartest I ever traveled from my home (in Daytona Beach) is to Orlando. Therefore, I have not had the experience of visiting Disneyland in California or any other Disneyland around the world. However, I have heard that many others on the board has had the pleasure of doing so.

I heard that each Disney castle is different in structure and model's a different Character. Is this true? Does anyone have a picture of another castle from any park? I am intrested in seeing the other castles and hearing the information.

Usually, I would go to GOOGLE and complete a search, but I did and really didn't get much. Thanks.

I've been to both DL and WDW and yes they are different for the different characters.

They are not all different characters but have some small changes to the castle itsefl.

My favorite castle is at Disneyland Paris. Since Europeans are literally surrounded by castles they had to make the DLP one even more majestic. I believe they did too! There are actual balconies where you can look around the park. If you go up the steps to the second story there is an area that you can walk around. It has beautiful stained glass mosaics. Under the castle is a dragon that awakens every few minutes.
I'll see if I can find the disk with our trip pictures on it to share.
My next favorite would have to be WDW. It is much much bigger than Disneyland California's. I grew up in LA so I have always been mesmerized by the DLCa castle but after visiting WDW a bunch of times and then going back to DLCa earlier this year I realized the size difference.
Someday I hope to see the Tokyo one too.

The Tokyo one is pretty much the same as the WDW one though. The Honk Kong castle is small.
