We're planning to have lunch in the castle at MK in case I can't get a PS for CRT. I know lunch isn't a character meal, but my DD would be thrilled to get a glimpse of Cinderella. Is there a certain time of day that anyone has seen Cinderella "hanging around" in the lobby area? Are her times there posted, or is it hit-and-miss? Thanks!

In our experience, it is truly hit or miss. You might see the Fairy Godmother in the lobby, too.

But we think lunch in the castle is delightful. Really great attention to detail.::yes::

We have never seen Cinderella, but we have seen the fairy godmother, prince Charming and Snow White. We truly enjoyed lunch here. Remember Cindy is also at the GF dinner for dinner, and we have seen her at the Toon Town character meet.

We had lunch there for dh birthday, his request. He wanted to be treated like a king and eat in a castle, the 3 ds could care less. But on the way out little ds decided to go down the elevator with me while the others took the stairs. Well we waited and the door opened and guess who popped out, you guessed it, none other than cinderella herself. I said, surprise! She said, oh my what a lovely greeting to ds. He just smiled, no pics or autographs. She was in between her castle shows. I have read other posters that saw her in the downstairs lobby. So good luck and may the pixie dust get sprinkled all over you.

I have only been twice for lunch but I always book my lunches (at all the parks) for when restaurant first opens as it is less crowded...most of the time. Both times at Cinderella's I had a seating with in the first half hour the place was open and both times Cinderellad came out while we were waiting downstairs.

We like to have an early PS as well....it's great isn't it? However, I think you just lucked out. We sometimes see Cinderella, sometimes FairyGodmother and sometimes no one. Hope your luck continues though.:D

I wish they would open for lunch earlier. At Disneyland there have been times when the places didn't open until noon!!!
I have found that WDW is starting to get that way too. Onmy first WDW trip, when I peeked into Cinderella's, the Fairy Godmother was in the waiting area. Never have seen a prince.

thanks for all the replies, everyone! I guess we'll just cross our fingers.

for the CRT lunch. We had done the CRT breakfast 3 years ago and thought lunch would be fun. No one was in the waiting area when we arrived but it was very quiet and relaxing. Around 12ish we went to the bathroom and peeked over the balcony into the waiting area and there was Cinderella and Aurora!! My DD went and got her autograph book and we got pictures and autographs. The Fairy Godmother was there too. They didn't seem rushed at all. We had as much time as we wanted with them, there weren't many people around at all!! It was great! They stayed at least 30-45 minutes. (I'm not sure if they were between shows?)

BTW, I preferred the lunch to the breakfast in many ways. It was a quiet and relaxing break instead of the rush you feel at breakfast. I purposely planned an early lunch PS in hopes we might see someone at lunch. I don't know if it was typical, but it worked!!!

Good Luck!

We had an early lunch in April. After eating we saw cinderella and the Fairy Godmother (it was betwenn shows). The lunch was wonderful - nice and relaxed - we have done breakfast twice - both times it was a very rushed affair.
