Castaway Club Membership

We recently sailed on the Wonder. Are we now members of the Castaway Club or do we have to call DCL. Should we be getting Castaway Club cards or something.

By the way, the Wonder was just "Magic"...

you should be getting something in the mail about 5-6 weeks and the only card you get is in the name of the person who the last cruise was in. i hope this helps

We sailed on 8/16/03, we received our Castaway Club Card by the second week in September.
I wonder why you have not received yours yet??

I have sailed twice and never received a card. For my parents this will be their 9th cruise....no membership cards for them either! I called after our last cruise to have them sent out ~ Never got them. I guess they just don't want us to be card carrying members....

did you fill the survey they left in your stateroom on the last night of your cruise? if you fill it out thats when you will get it. i would call DCL to see what is up. i hope this helps

Was this the survey asking you to rate the CM's ? If so, I did. If it was something else, then I don't recall seeing any other survey in the room.

You are automatically CC members if you have sailed DCL before. However, if you want your cards you either have to call or fill out the survey at the end of the cruise. I have sailed twice and did not know about it the first time, but did call about it the second time! If you don't have them just call DCL, there is a CC number listed on the DCL website. It is worth it because next time you sail you will get a gift in your stateroom, plus...you won't have to wait in line to check in!

Thanks Gina---I'll have to call because I did fill out the only survey I could find in the stateroom.

That last one though about not having to wait in line is not completely true; the CC lines have been as long as the regular lines on all 5 cruises we've been on. We've been in a regular line most of the time.

I guess the lines depend on when you arrive. The past few times we have sailed we arrived right when we could get on the ship so the line did not have anyone in them. No matter, the gift is still nice!

The cards look like regular credit cards, they are a flimsy plastic that has your name, membership number, member since date and the CC reservation number on it. You don't really need the card if you know your reservation number, but it is nice to have.

Does anyone know if you booked through a TA if you can still call Disney Cruise Line and ask for your card or do you have to go through your TA? I don't have my reservation number or anything like that but I do supposed they could look it up by last name. Thanks.

your TA has nothing to do with CC. You will have to call Disney to get your card and your number.
