Castaway Cay?

Hi Anybody just returning from a cruise at has being on other years? Just wondering how Castaway Cay looks now.They had to completely rebuild it from the one hurricane. We were on the Western Disney Cruise a year ago and is still in our dreams. Just going into Disney stores it feels like we are swaying.

Just got back on Sunday from a 3 nighter aboard the Wonder. Castaway Cay looks OK - they had a sign up (Disney's typical nice touch) explaining that hurricanes were Mother Nature's way of redecorating and that they were still cleaning up from it.

The beaches looked OK, but the palm trees looked a little battered. The weather was decidely cool - high 60's, low 70's, and the water was probably in the 60's. With the stiff wind adding in, I decided that I was going to work on my tan rather than snorkling. :-(

the ribs at the central food place (who's name escapes me at the moment) were good and hot; the hamburgers were cold, my wife tells me.

Next cruise: Alaska! (it'll probably have a heat wave while we're there this summer since it was so cold in the Caribbean last week!

I have talked to lots of people and they say it was wonderful!

Hi Me again. We were thier a year ago on our last day for the Disney Western. Had a great time but got toooo much sun. My DD 12 got her hair braided. Too much money but she made it last for weeks.
Sister-inlaw is a travel agent and said that it was completely gone and had to be rebuilt. Just may be some day we will be back because.
