Just curious,
Does your Castaway Cay membership ever expire or is it once a member always a member?

I don't know the answer to that for sure but I don't think it does expire.

My question and reason for posting is - what exactly are the benefits anymore of being a Castaway Club member? For now you still get the Captain's Reception on-board but from reading other posts there is no stateroom credit. It appears that many "perks" are going away.

Bummer - not as much incentive to keep returining (yes DCL is great but the stateroom credits made it a no-brainer to rebook)

According to what I have been told, you will receive shipboard credit if you book your next cruise while you are still on the ship. So you may want to think seriously before you cruise about whether you want to cruise again and book while you are on the cruise. You can always cancel if you aren't able to travel or even change your dates later and still receive the credit.

The regular benefits for Castaway Club members are an invitation to the Captain's reception and a small gift in your stateroom.

Once a Castaway Club member, always a member!
