Castaway Cay watercraft (kayaks, SUPs, etc.) only 30 min?

We were thinking about doing maybe kayak, SUP, Hobie Cat, etc. but I notice all of them say 30 minutes and that just doesn't seem all that long to me. Anyone done any of these activities and can report back on the timing?

We have never done these water activities, but they all take place in a separate sectioned off area, you can’t journey into the open waters so 30 minutes is about all you need to cover the area available to explore.
