How do you sign up?
Where do you sign up?
How much does it cost?
Is it worth it?
THANKS!

Sign up at the spa...there is usually a separate table for this. Go
and line up EARLY; the slots are very limited.

I'm not sure of the current cost, I think it's around $90. Someone will be able to tell you for sure.

Worth it? Honestly, no. I get a MUCH better massage at the spa than at Castaway Cay. I don't like to take time out of my day in paradise for a massage when I can get one on the ship. :) I'm sure there are others who will tell you differently.

I did the full body massage in 1/02--it cost around 125 with tip. I really wanted to love this, but I didn't. The person I had hurt me--I ached for days following my trip. It was a little bit of a hassle for me to get to Serenity Bay in time for the treatment. The cabana was beautiful, but since this trip, I just save my spa money for the rainforest room, and get my massages at home.

I did the full body massage, with tip it cost $125.00. Would I do it again????? If I had the extra money, yes.

We did the cabana massage for the first time in quite a while, and I really enjoyed it. The question is, are you willing to give up some island time? I just happened to be in the mood for an outdoor massage. I did it at 10 a.m. in the morning (early enough so I wouldn't be wet from swimming yet but not so early that I had to rush to get to Serenity Bay).
If you feel that the massage is too rough, don't be shy about asking them to do it lighter. Often they will ask what type of touch you like beforehand and also during the massage. If they do not, don't hesitate to voice your preference. Hubby said one of his massages started off with too much pressure, so he asked for a lighter touch and they were happy to accommodate.

DH and I did this in January and are glad we did BUT would not spend the money on it again. It was a bit pricey. No regrets, though.

I just came back from the July 5, 7-night Western and got the cabana massage for $115.00 without the tip. I will not do it again because I was under the impression that it would be like the Maui outdoor massages where you feel the ocean breeze and hear the water/waves. All that I heard were the LOUD fans to keep us cool. It was a great massage, but it was nothing I couldn't have done on the ship in the spa. You are not close to the water. Just my thoughts :)

Wow...they have gone up $15.00 more. I think I agree with Dis Mama, I will get one on board if I want one. That is getting a little steep especially after you include a tip. :(
