IF you're reffering to the little tag that appears under one's user name, then here's the deal:

No charge

Benefits - undefined, some get alot out of the boards, others dont.

Your tag changes automatically once you've made 75 posts (I think thats the number)

You get info by posting the question!

Actually at 75 you become a Mouseketeer, not sure when you become a cast member..

You become a cast member at 500 posts. I just did.

The term is just automatically added under your name depending on how many posts you have....different terms for different amounts of posts....sometimes the Tag Fairies (the moderators who oversee these boards, will add some wording in color that is different from the standard wording)....these tag fairies pick and choose at their will...so no sense in trying to bribe the tag fairies...

A DIS Cast Member is not to be confused with a Disney Cast Member (which is someone that works for the Disney Company. A DIS Cast Member is someone who participates in these boards.
