Do you guys give anything to cast members to thank them? I have these bussiness cards that say Thank you for making my Walt Disney World vacation magical, with a diff charactor on them. My mom gives out candy canes for xmas or York pattys

i think the cards are nice, but i wouldn't eat candy someone gave me. :confused3

Even though they are fresh from the packaging and they are wrapped up in plastic. you still wont eat them? there not contaminated (sp?)

you're a lot smarter than me...i totally would! haha, even if i didn't eat it though, it's a nice gesture and i'd appreciate it!
that's really sweet of you mom & you! i've never done that before, it's a cute idea.

no, probably not. its a nice gesture, and i'd def. say thank you, but CMs deal with hundreds and thousands of people a day, and not all of them are really nice, so i would just be suspicious of taking anything from a customer like that.

I think you mean GUEST ;)

I like the card idea. I've never done anything, but maybe I should make those cards to leave at our resturant tables and things.

I wouldn't be surprised if Disney has a policy against giving food to cast members. And if I was one, I wouldn't eat it. You can't trust everybody that goes through the parks. just because they're at WDW doesn't mean they're nice.

I like the cards, though.

I always carry a pen with me while in the parks and if our service at a restaurant is good, I'll leave a note and a drawing for our server.

I would probably take the candy. And eat it too!

Actually, in Disney, it's guests, not customers. :)

actually, it doesn't matter where she's giving candy to EMPLOYEES, as an EMPLOYEE i wouldn't take anything from a CUSTOMER. she could give candy to pilots, cashiers, and janitors, and it wouldn't be any different no matter where htey were.

cast members is the correct term for disney employees :D
