Cass & Rob do Vegas, Disney style! :) Trip Report with pics!

Rob enjoyed my eggs yesterday (I usually only eat half my food and then he gets the rest, although from the look of us, you would think it was the other way around LOL!) so he ordered some eggs and bacon with pancakes. I had a repeat of yesterday except I substituted bacon for the ham this time.

The eggs were not as good as the last time, the hashbrowns were half decent and the bacon was delish!

hmmm, i may have some old spice from 1972. i think thats the first time i shaved. :rotfl:

Okay, I just have to say - I'm a "smell girl" too. And, I, being a 70's chick, have found myself turning around and following a man who is wearing Brut - oops even with my DH there! :rotfl2: His Brut got old-smelling and I had to throw it out - don't think we can find it again, so I found him something new!

Haha, Rob said he got tired of seeing those "skanks" everywhere :lmao: They were everywhere, including the elevator :rotfl:

Every dog's different eh Mikey? ;) :rotfl2:

Since I'm always "lost" or stop to look at something without saying anything - he didn't notice! :goodvibes

Thank you thank you thank you!!!! My husband and I are going to Vegas next October and I have read SO many trip reports, but they never tell me much about Vegas other than the gambling! I learned so much from your TR, my husband will be cursing you forever though when he sees my itinerary!!! :lmao:

Day 5, October 17th 2008

Today was the whole reason we planned a trip to Vegas. Today was our tenth wedding anniversary! Wow, 10 years already! That went fast. We’re both pretty proud of our marriage. While it’s not perfect, we’ve worked really hard to make it a really good one. We’ve had our moments where we’ve wanted to choke each other for a few brief moments, but those moments pass quickly and they are few and far between.

We both feel extremely lucky to have found each other and we say it every day! Yup, every single day! Not a day goes by in our life that we don’t tell the other person how much they are loved and needed and appreciated and desired and wanted.

There’s nothing in this harsh and cruel world that you can’t get through if you know that there is someone who feels that way about you and shows it to you every day!

While we are truly black and white when it comes down to our views and opinions, deep down, Rob and I are soul mates. We are made from the same cloth and even though we have our challenges and tough times ahead, we both know that we will be together forever. Toujours. That word is inscribed on the inside of our wedding bands. It means Forever.

Okay, enough with the mushy stuff already

well said cass.:cutie:
having been lucky enough to cruise with you guys a couple times, its obvious you guys were meant to be together(much like robin and i:hug: )

Since I'm always "lost" or stop to look at something without saying anything - he didn't notice! :goodvibes

LOL, Rob is like that! In the casinos I just hold onto his arm. I can feel that I am steering him and that he has no idea where he's going :lmao:

Well I am glad you enjoyed it!! We didn't do that much really, well at least it doesn't feel like it. There's even more to do, we just didn't get to it.

I know ;)

i may just keep my "vintage" bottle of Brute handy for the next cruise then.

How about picking up something new, let Robin pick it out :goodvibes

Ahhh thanks   You're too sweet!

Hahaha I WISH!!! As it is, next year's trip is going to be tight. But I made a WDW 2009 collection jar last night and I am determined to get it filled by next year :rolleyes1

I also decided to scour the internet and enter any and all contests that will help us get there :lmao: Pathetic huh? But Kira will be just under 3, the perfect age I think, to go to WDW :thumbsup2 I was 3 on my first trip, so I am hoping she will have her second trip by the age of 3 :dance3:

I figure I will have enough airmiles by then to get our WDW tickets through them, so that will help too :thumbsup2

And we might have enough avion points for one of our flights :goodvibes

But please feel free to start up that collection :rolleyes1 :lmao:

oh yes.:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2
3 is the perfect age.:yay:

Sorry but I have had nothing but bad experiences there. :crazy2:

The one that sticks out the most (and still bugs me to this day!) was on my first visit there 10 years ago. They used to have these big comfy chairs right near the entrance in front of the check-in area. We had been walking all day and my feet were killing me! (This was before Crocs  ) We had sat down on those chairs to rest for a few minutes and I put my foot up a little. It wasn’t ON the chair, my calf was on the chair with my foot hanging off a little. Well a Bellagio bellman came along and said really rudely “This isn’t a mall missy!” and smacked my foot really hard! So hard that my foot came crashing down to the ground, twisting my ankle! :headache:

Ok, so I can kind of understand that he might be a little upset that my leg was up (but really, it wasn’t that bad, I wasn’t laying on the chair with my feet up or anything!) but he could have had the decency to politely ask me to remove my leg!! And I would have done so. There was absolutely NO NEED at all for physical violence here!. Basty Nastard!!!

So after being physically assaulted during my very first visit to this upper-crust(y) establishment, it had soured me to open myself up to enjoy anything else that this hotel may have offered.

That is awful!!! I truly gasped out loud when I read your experience!!!! :scared1:
I was wondering why you hated the Bellagio so much until you told that story, and I would have totally felt the same. Did you complain to any manager?? I would have been so shocked and PO'd... They have no right treating any one like that.

There’s nothing in this harsh and cruel world that you can’t get through if you know that there is someone who feels that way about you and shows it to you every day!

That is so sweet, and you are right, very important. Sometimes I take that for granted with my DH, so I will have to make sure he knows more often!

Oh you meant the family beach! We've only been there once but next time plan on going all the way to the end :thumbsup2 Last time we were with family and they decided :headache: And nooooo no more family!!!! :sad2: Our good friends Sean & Bernie and their 2 kids will be joining us for the cruise and just the 3 of us for WDW this time ::yes:: No more IN-LAWS!!!!!!!!! :scared1:

Rob said he would stay at home with Kira while I had a girls trip :thumbsup2 :cool1: :woohoo:

I think I OD'd on burgers and fries was because I didn't have any for about 4 months prior to this trip. I was working out and eating really well and I lost 20 pounds. I gave up burgers and fries so by the time I got to Vegas, I was going through withdrawals :rolleyes1 :lmao: :rotfl2:

By the way, I am the crab queen as well as the carb queen  :lmao: I also spelled it crab when I typed it the first time :rotfl:

I am so glad you will be going without family this next time, it will be so much happier for you! I cannot wait to hear how it goes---especially compared to the last time.

And I know about sacrificing on the bad food, so you can enjoy it on the trip. I do that too ---lost alot of weight, and was ******** as well and gained about 20 pounds of it back that I need to get off by September! I am a big time carb queen!

Hahaha, I said GOOD smelling guys, not OLD smelling guys :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl:

That made me truly laugh out loud. :rotfl: Well, that and the comment about people appreciating you not using the telephone in the bathroom that day. LOL :lmao:

Hey Cass, only saw this trippie today, loved it!!! Happy belated anniversary, can't believe how big Kira is, seems like yesterday I was reading your trippie to WDW whilst pregnant and my little princess is now 15 months :cloud9:

I have to say you must be one of the nicest people on earth because that guy at the Bellagio who hit your foot 10 years ago would have probably landed me in jail as i'd have knocked him out, what a jerk!

Looking forward to the cruise trippie in October :thumbsup2

Hey Eloise! Wow, Matilda is already 15 months  Time flies huh?

I was thinking about writing a pre-trippie for our October vacation because I am soooo excited but I don't want to string people along for 6 months :lmao: Maybe I will wait a few more months :rolleyes1

191 more days till we leave :woohoo::cool1::banana:
