So sorry to hear about your Daddy passing...a big happy birthday to Rob though. I'm sure your friends there will be great for you!

No rush on the DVC thing, they'll be there for a very long time. I do think its genius to rent, its so much cheaper that way. We did it once when we didn't have quite enough points one trip and it was great. Be careful though, you might catch the bug that we've all caught and just buy one day. It'll be the best decision ever.

Can't wait to read more and more and more!! And please, no scrimping on the pictures please, I'm talking luggage, cutie Kira pics getting ready for her big trip (omg, that video was the BEST btw, you have taught her well!) and she will have a total blast this trip with all the characters. Okay, gnight for now!!

Good update Cass! You have inspired me to keep on my toes with my pre trip report. If things get slow at work today, I may add a new chapter this morning.

It's funny, but about a month after we booked our first DCL cruise in 9/2005, you had your "marathon" live report of your 10/05 WDW, Universal, Sea World and DCL vacation. I really enjoyed reading that, and looked forward to each update. I even still go on and read that trip report on occasion (at least segments of it), take a look at the pictures, or watch the video.

Looking forward to meeting you, Rob and Kira as well as all of the KK alumuni and BOBers in 70 or so days.

I get this look often

She loved Gymtastics and Gymboree!

She celebrated her 2nd birthday, along with her cousin Dani who was praying to the cupacake Gods here LOL!

Then she started the crazy hair phase. Which explains why her hair is so short now

In January she went from her crib to her big bed

Getting out of bed was a novelty! And she feel asleep in her closet or near her window a lot

Only a few more to go

We had a bit of a scare earlier this year when she had a bad reaction to something. We now carry an epipen although, she hasn't reacted to anything since then

All blinged out

In May, I started my new job I have two girls now

We had another scare in May, she had a swollen lymph node

My little oompah loompah

It was a year of firsts....

First pony ride

First horse jumping show

First Calgary Stampede which also brought some firsts...

First face painting

First time she went on a ride all by herself!

Which finally (I know, I know, but I warned you that I like photos!!) brings us to the present

Calgary is Mountain time, 2 hours behind Florida EST. But I am a night owl and usually in bed by midnight but don't sleep until around 2

That was my fave Disney trip so far I am hoping to top it this time

Thanks Jill Yeah, it was a funny time when she switched to a big bed! Every night Rob and I would bet on where we would find her I'm glad though that she finally falls asleep in her bed every night. She does use the WHOLE bed though and we find her in the funniest spots

Your trip sounds like its going to be fab, i'm especially interested in the Cruise bit as we're planning a 4 night cruise next Sept when Matilda will be 2 months short of 3 - can't believe she's almost 2! Am already looking forward to reports on Flounders and the food etc.

I love the photos of her asleep on the floor, so precious That allergic reaction must have been so scary, my niece had that. She had just started to lick a Kinder chocolate - turns out she's allergic to hazelnuts and walnuts in a BIG way.

Kira's "stare" is so fabulous, I love the attitude already!

Cass....did you ever find out what her allergic reaction was?

We took her twice for allergy testing and while there was nothing that she reacted to that badly, she was allergic to 3/4 of what she tested for!

Never did find out what she reacted to though
