I had the opportunity to meet Bill on several occasions. I would describe him as one of those rare gentlemen who truly was there to serve the needs of others unselfishly. His knowledge and advice about Disney and DVC were priceless. He had that "joy of life" that so many of us strive for. Prayers for his family and those who loved him as they mourn his passing. My Bill rest in the peace that he so deserves.

My DH and I met Bill, Peg and John twice.....5/08 at VB and 5/09 at AKV. Such wonderful, nice people......all I can say is our thoughts and sympathies to Peg, John and the rest of their family.

While I never met him in person I did benefit from his wise words and contributions to DIS. The DIS is a better place for having had Bill as a member.

He will surely be missed by myself and the masses here on the DIS. Although the majority didnt know him personally, I know his advice and guidance have influenced and affected so many of us here in such a positive manner. May he rest in peace and his family take some comfort and solice in knowing that his legacy will carry on here at the DIS. He has reached so many of us through his passion, hard work and dedication to the DVC and DIS members alike. He was a remakrable man. May God rest his soul !!!

My thoughts are with Bill's family at this tragic time. He was a lovely gentleman who has given me lots of advice since joining the DVC community.

I just received a nice note from Bill's wife, Peg. She wanted me to thank everyone for their kind thoughts and prayers.

Bill had the coronary around 5:30pm yesterday and was gone before the ambulance could get him to the hospital. The ER doc assured Peg that Bill did not suffer.

Final arrangements will be decided later as the family gathers today. Continued prayer for the family will be appreciated over the days ahead. I will post any details as I learn them.

Here is a photo taken with Bill's camera at our Kidani meet in mid May.

Bill is second from the right (next to me), and Peg is in front of him with DVC John to the left of Bill. I will miss that smiling face!
